I would rather see the young guys play no matter what, but I get playing Boozer and Hill. I mean they're human too and trying to get contracts next season. Sitting them sucks and I'm sure it's hard on Byron's conscious knowing he's costing them money. Besides Ed Davis is probably our best and most consistent big and he's sitting? Black is our most consistent effort guy and he's sjtting... I think Hill and Boozer are better but I'm not sure they're better for winning necessarily. Also it might not matter who we trot out in this game. The Sixers are just better tankers.
Your last sentence pretty much sums it all it wouldn't matter if we start Lin, Jordan, Duke, Johnson, Kelly the 6ers will want to lose no matter what and the Lakers won't stood that low.
They will still have the best player on the floor in Noel. That counts for something. We are sitting out our best player in Lin. (Let's face it. He has been our best player the last 15-20 games.)
Don't worry. After last game, here's Scott's words to inspire Hill, "That's one thing I'm a little disappointed in. I thought he was a real energy guy."
Yea he said that. Funny how if he thinks that and has made no visible changes to Hill's play this year to try and change it.
To be fair Hill's per-minute rebounding stats are the worst they've been since he's been in LA. His energy HAS been worse this season. Tarik Black's energy level has been higher than Hill's. Part of that is because we've asked more from Hill offensively and he loves shooting jumpers now, but still his energy level has been lower this season than past seasons.
Mike Bresnahan ✔ @Mike_Bresnahan That hurts the ol' lottery chances. Lakers almost surely finishing with NBA's 4th-worst record and 16% chance two teams pass them in lottery
