Those Sixers tank really well. :banghead:

Going to be hard to catch them though I would really like the number 3 spot.

I like how he tries to give Cousins some contact to knock him back so he can kick it back out? Doh! Look, the sixers are just pros in this area. It's like playing a team that's been deep in the playoffs the last 4 years, their experience level here is pro.

The Knicks should be ashamed. It's one thing to lose, but what the clipps are doing to them is criminal.

Clark is grat, but now we might be in trouble. I'm afraid ORL might catch up.

I can't do much but shake my head at this point. Can't wait for this awful season to be over. Guess its 4th spot or bust at this point.

I don't know why I expected the feel to be different in here? lol

Did you all really think we would lose to the Wolves? They're sitting their stars. The fact we didn't blow them out should be a testament to how bad we really are.

Lakers have now put themselves in a very bad spot. Extremely unlikely they can drop to 3rd and are now seriously risking catching Orlando and finishing 5th. Losing out, which won't happen, seems like the only chance they have of turning things around.

No, forget about #3. It's not going to happen at this point. We should only hope that Orlando won't out-tank us. And that we don't lose that pick.

Fortunately, the Magic have to play Minny and NY soon.

Why would anyone be happy with this real, wins are poison to us right now, the mood is typical. I'm not mad though out of the moment, for the reason you mention, Clarkson with zero fear even with fighting through late mistakes, I love this kid.

Still, such a weird season, can't wait for it to end. So tired of rooting against us, so tired of not enjoying our rookie and young guys do good things. So tired of never getting mad at refs for making bad calls against us, this is hell.

We have 12 games left - 5 winnable games (Phi, Min, Sacto x2, Den)

Orlando has 9 games left - 3 winnable games (Det, Min, New York)

3 game lead in the standings....

If we drop to 5 and then lose the pick, we better sign Lin to a max deal because he will be our savior that can lead us out of the lottery.

Yeah. Sorry for being a downer but I just don't see anything to be happy about. Wins bring us closer to losing the pick. Its really that simple for me right now. It sucks, but I cant enjoy the wins. The thought of no pick and trotting Lin and wes and some of the rest of these guys out there next year makes me want to throw things.

It might not be right to feel this way, but thats just where I am at right now.

Because we lost to a team that was honestly worse than us. We won't find many teams worse than this Wolves team is right now. And to get the win the ONE piece that is guaranteed to be a part of our future won the game.

First and foremost we should celebrate the development of this kid... Even if we get the draft pick there's no guarantee that kid is as good as Clarkson is proving to be. Watching Clarkson do great things should bring more joy than the pick...

But I guess you're right. I just didn't expect us to lose this game so I'm not that upset about it. I have to stop coming in here though. It's really depressing for me.

gotta hope karma exists at this point. the lakers have built up a ton of credits of late.

in fairness, the wolves were trying to win, too--they just suck more.

Well we are celebrating Clarkson, this just isn't the thread for that, this is kinda the new WMC thread. I also really don't care if there's a team worse than us, I wish we were the worst, better chance at the top pick. And then when it's over I erase it from my memory like the 04/05 Lakers after Rudy left and Kobe got injured.

The Lakers coaching staff actually did the right thing by sitting all the veterans and letting the young guys play in the 4th quarter. It was great to see all the young guys getting experience. It sucks because they pulled out a win at time where every win and loss can be the difference between having a top 5 pick and not having one.

Had them turds thought of doing that early, we would be sitting on probably 3 less wins and be mad about not getting into the top 2, as opposed to dropping down to 5.
