We are not catching NY or Phily, I don't know why we're even following their activity. Phily is pro at tanking and NY is just a horrible team. We really only need to be watching the Wolves, Magic, and maybe Nuggets. To me it looks like we're locked into that 4th spot, Minny is not better enough to win many games, and we're at least keeping pace with Orlando.

I'm not sure if it would hurt or help the tank job, lol, but it looks like a perfect time to sign some of the Defenders that are doing well to 10 day contracts to see if their games have grown and could replace some of the waste on the roster for next year. Roscoe Smith, Jabari Brown and Jamaal Franklin have been great for them. Franklin in particular has raised eyebrows with his overall game. Also he just got back from China where he was a 28 / 8/ 7 guy outshining the projected top 5 pick Muldaiy. Here's a link to an article about him from yesterday.

Like the sound of that... What we should do is sign a few of our guys to two 10-day contracts. Brown, Franklin, and Smith. Let them all come up here and audition.

    1. It helps us see what we've got.
    2. It helps us tank because our rotations will be thrown off.

It pretty much is. I think we are better than our record indicates... unlike the 76ers and Knicks who are just that bad.

Wolves have been playing much better since Rubio's return so lets hope they catch up to us!

It's either #3 or #4 for us this season. We'll see. I'll take the 80+% chance, sure, but it's better if we can improve that some more.

The odds of him crash landing on that golf course were not great. Lucky to still have Harrison Ford around. Heard a pilot interviewed that used to do eye in the sky chopper flights for KFI say that the Santa Monica Airport is kind of up on an elevated plateau, and when he lost power he did exactly what experienced pilots should do ..... continue to "fly" the plane. From that slightly higher elevation it allowed him to try for the golf course in the midst of not many other places to land. Very dense in the neighborhood. But if he had not clipped the top of the tree which brought him down quicker than his somewhat controlled glide, he likely would have over shot the course into who knows what. A back surgeon playing golf gets to him right away and with others helps get him out of the wreck and stabilized. Guy says he knew who he was right away even though he was banged up pretty good. The Force was with him. [IMG] Tiny but very cool little plane. Something certainly went wrong.

^ He was drafted by Memphis. They cut him after his first season and he went overseas I believe to China. Came back to play with the D-Fenders and is likely to get a call up soon.

What a terrible, punch to the gut game. Lakers win and Clarkson, Kelly, Black benched in crunch time. Inexcusable.

Fail across the board tonight. Knicks had it till they shut it down in the 4th q. As far as us, I don't get it. How does a team so bad stay competitive and win games we shouldn't be winning.

Well I got the stats right but I thought Reggie Jackson would try to play well for a potential suitor. Something about that kid's body language is awful.
