I'll feel much better about the prospect of keeping the pick and also moving up if we are in 3rd instead of 4th, but still, ORL winning is definitely a positive thing for us. Kings are creeping up though, and we play them twice to finish the season. Byron is dumb enough to win those games even if they allow SAC to overtake us.
Man I hope not, or then it is on the front office for being too dumb to explain it to him in very clear language.
I think the wins we are getting is a perfect storm of Byron, the front office not communicating that we need to tank, and also teams just flat out not coming to play against us. Teams just come out flat against us for the first 3 quarters thinking they will pull it out in the end. It usually works out for them, but man. I am pretty surprised by how flat the Grizzlies and Mavs both came out against us.
I am just afraid we're going to destroy Detroit. I'm not going to discuss the gamest against Philly, because we're going to crush them.
I think we lose to Detroit, but I suspect its only a matter of time before we manage to beat one of these good teams that keep coming out flat.
Quick look thru their schedule: 2x Philly, Minny and Utah at home and 2 against us in the end. The rest is pretty tough-mostly playoff teams, a lot of away games also, but i think they should get 3-4 wins before we meet at the end.
