    Getting the pick was always going to be tough and we made it worse these last few games. I suppose I'd be enjoying the wins more if I thought many of these guys would still be on the roster next year but I don't. So for me, I feel like I'm watching a bunch of guys who will playing somewhere else soon completely blow our chance at a top 3 pick.

    And yes, I fully understand the odds.

    If you fully understand the odds, then how you can say we completely blow our chance? That's simply wrong Elgin and you know it. It's a defeatist way to view not just the season but the odds on the pick.

    It's not like the 3rd worst record means we get zero odds to keep the pick.

    Not sure if mentioned already, but right now, sitting in the 3rd spot, we have a 16% chance of winning the lottery, a 32% chance of taking the 2nd pick and a 48% chance of keeping our 3rd pick. Anything else and you know it's gone, along with the pick in 2019.

    Thinking about it differently ..... if I knew there was a 16% chance of sirron justifiably, as with Boron, doing a poop gif of me and sending it to national media types, a 32% chance of him doing one of me but only being using it frequently here on LB or a 48% chance of him doing me with some other harsh creation of his ..... I would be terrified. The guy is like Chuck Norris being pissed at you. :Laugh:

    ^^^ Thank you for that. You can't ask the players to tank, they're professionals, they won't lose on purpose. The only way a team can legit tank is through instructions from the front office to hold players out of games and/or the head coach doing that, and I think that's kinda pathetic, even if you desperately need that draft pick. It's not on the players to go out there and do anything but try and win every game they play. Just because they lose way more games than they win doesn't mean they didn't try or didn't want to win those games.
