can he shoot from distance? if so, he's a more athletic jon leuer. which is actually quite good. love his aggressiveness and quickness for his size. nose for the ball, too. nance-ish in some regards.

The sample size is sort of small, but he took 21 threes for Gonzaga and hit 10 of them (47.6%). If he declares I'd expect him to go in the Top 20 picks so we may not be able to get to him. He's a bit bigger than Nance Jr. I can't think of an immediate comparison, but if he can hone in on that long range shot, he'd be a Top 10 pick.

Anigbogu is sort of interesting. His numbers aren't great at all and he's extremely raw, but he's a big strong kid. I'm interested where he'll go in the draft. I would compare him I suppose to Biyombo maybe. He has very little offensive game that he can create for himself, but he can finish lobs, rebound, and protect the rim a little bit. He compares somewhat to Bam Adebayo who is right now on DE's board at #30.

^^ He should stay in school, but UCLA has a great recruiting class coming in, so he might lose PT. Agree, he's very raw. Whoever takes him is gonna need to be very patient.

I agree. Same with a few of these other big man prospects. They're rushing to get in the league, but I think it's a mistake. I'd bet on myself improving and try to get up into that Top 15 range.

Hurt the tank tonight, but being at the game tonight I'll tell you I wasn't rooting for no damn tank. Glad they won. Really fun game to watch. Ennis is definitely a keeper. Ingram looked good in limited minutes. Clarkson can be very good in a bench role.

I honestly don't think it matters a whole lot whether we have the 2nd or 3rd worst record. Most likely no matter what we do we were gonna end up 3rd anyway, Phoenix is tanking hard. It hasn't hurt us the last 2 seasons, I believe we had the 5th worst record when we got Russell 3 years ago, and the 3rd worst last year when we got Ingram. Hell, maybe we get even luckier this season and finally break through and get that lucky bounce that lands the #1 pick. Seems just as likely as any other outcome, it's a total toss up.

This is a surprise. Anigbogu really has to work to make it with any team. There are players in the D-League who are probably more polished than him.

Absolutely. I also take into account for this game:

    1. Ingram looked terrific in limited minutes.
    2. The energy the team opened with is something we've only seen a handful of times. It was wonderful.
    3. Luke did everything in his power to lose this game and we still won. No moral victories, but a mature understanding of the situation.

It is what it is at this point. I can't get mad at seeing my Lakers win and when the odds aren't changing extensively at this stage, I don't care to root for losses. Heck I've never cared to root for losses. We were never going to have great odds to keep this pick.

What else could Luke do? He tried everything, IMO.
