No. I can think of a lot of things that are dirty...whether you like it or not. Well...maybe not a lot. Actually. A lot. Too many.

I can't even be upset. This is precisely the kind of win the kids need: one where they each get to showcase something about them that makes them valuable to the team. Russell lead them both verbally and with his actions. Randle hit the glass and kept the ball moving, Ingram attacked in a variety of ways, Nance hustled all over the floor, Clarkson scored the ball, and Zubac showed flashes of flat out dominance inside. This is exactly what they need to do on a consistent basis.

It wasn't like they won because they were shooting really well or because Phoenix couldn't shoot. They won because they executed and played with heart and passion which is so rare for them these days.

If they won every game the rest of the season like this... well at least then they'd show the league what they're made of and how good they can be. That'd be vital for FA this summer. Leave the ping pong balls up to the basketball gods at that point. I think in the long run THESE kids proving that they can be winners is every bit as important as keeping the pick.

awful win against a direct opponent. This team even disappoints when they win.

What was "awful" about the win besides the fact that it affected the tank?

it may potentially alter the already unlikely event that they keep their pick. odds go from 56% to 47% for keeping the pick if the suns finish behind them. not losing sleep because we're probably losing the pick in either case.

I'd rather count our chicks that have hatched. In his case it means seeing our current players improve rather than hoping for a top pick. We will still have 27 and 33. I trust our scouts to add two contributors or package those.

My prediction of rolling off 8 straight wins at some point this season is running out of time too.

Lonzo Ball played a steady game last night and managed his foul situation smartly. A couple of instances though when he had to manufacture a shot with the clock running down did not produce results. Same question about his ability in half court sets. Overall, Ball had impact on the game. 'Zona tonight.

Phoenix is has bad as we are; we'll continue losing, have a 55.6% shot to keep out pick, and I'll bite my nails during the lottery.

Lakers remaining schedule is BRUTAL.. I don't see us going better than 4-13 the rest of the way.
