Will be interesting to see how Randle will be used, there' is only one ball....Clarkson/Russell/Kobe like to dribble a lot...and then we have Louis Williams/Nick Young coming off the bench. Very guard heavy.

    Nance blocks Okafor again lol

Russell was careless with the ball and his shot was off but he still managed to fill the stat sheet. Back to back games along with Byron's practices killed his legs. Kid has got to get his conditioning up. He should probably start hitting the gym with Clarkson.

    Loving Nance.

Clarkson was the best player on the floor again.

I have no idea what kind of offense that was supposed to be out there. Russell and Clarkson and we still only had like 5 assists. Just unacceptable.

    Nance rocks.

Russ did not shoot well, but he had solid numbers regardless. Rebounded extremely well. He'll have some triple doubles in his career.

This offense is hot garbage. Come on, keep it simple, let the guards run PnR, find open guys and freestyle a little.

Nance and JC probably my favorite Lakers tonight.

I thought Upshaw was a beast on defense, but he did very little with the ball on offense (set screens at world record pace).

Clarkson again outclassed everyone on the floor.

Russell will need to settle down a little. 7-23 shooting with 12 turnovers in the first two games. Rebounding is good and seems to see the floor well but slow is as good as fast

    Black looked good again

Nance is Lou Amundson 2.0 He gets after it on every play

Not worried about Russ, these are just his first 2 summer league games, let alone actual nba games. He'll figure it out, adjust, develop. He has the talent.

Really impressed by Nance. He's Kurt Rambis with more skills and without the glasses.

The offense does not take advantage of Russell's or Clarkson's skills. It's Mike Brown all over again, Hibbert might be shooting threes one of these day like Bynum did.

Russell gets into the lane and then is stuck. He doesn't know what to do when he gets there. Right now the game is moving too fast for him in that regard. Just rushing and telegraphing all his moves. We need to get Nash in there to get him some help.

Okafor is definitely ahead of him right now though.

Seriously though...it is just the second Summer League game. Now if we are a fourth of the way in the regular season...

In Russell's defense, I think it would also help him if we ran some kind of freaking offense....

With Russell and Clarkson there is just no excuse for us to have so few assists and such poor ball movement. That's on the guys with the clipboards.

So Byron installed an offense that got Mike Brown fired. Insanity, if he expects a different result.

Russell needs to settle down. Running the point at one speed all the time is the problem. Some of the best PG's vary their attack speed. D Will is a master at this.
