    It definitely is a smaller sample size than the others. Upshaw only played 19 games last year. Towns and Okafor played around double that. Still in those 19 games he blocked something like 87 shots or so. Just ridiculous numbers.

    So awesome TWC will televise all these SL games. God knows how many "Top 10 3rd quarter Laker Assist" type programs they can put together to keep fans tuning in this offseason

    I also missed that those were "per 40 minutes" stats. His actual was 4.5 blocks per game in 24.9 minutes for the Uni of Washington last year.

    Still absurd for 19 games and 25 minutes. If he can come in and give us 2.5 blocks per 20 mins that's big. Considering he will likely face bench players he can run up some good numbers. Between Hibbert & Upshaw, our rim is getting nasty. Complete 180 from last season.

    Nice jumpers; didn't know he had it in him.

    He may not have much on offense, but the fact that he knows how to use his size and length to his advantage can only mean good things. Could be a foundation for developing a good low-post game or even a turnaround/fallaway jumper. Dirk 2.0! :p

    So....Cuban is an enraged, wounded Grizzly about now waking up and realizing yesterday was not just a nightmare.....with about 20M to spend. Would this maybe change the Lakers' time line and thinking about when they lock up Upshaw if they're still hopeful about him, with the requisite clauses in his contract? What if he looks pretty good first summer league game?

    Upshaw is around 6'11 and Randle is around 6'9. So not a huge difference in height. Bob just was those long arms with the 7'5 wingspan.

    That's what i figured but it was too late & i was too lazy to change it though as long as we get a glimpse of upshaw I'll be a happy camper
