First of all most of the players suck on SL on this particular team; and secondly, Miles Simon hasn't impressed me.
Wagner is going to struggle trying to create in the NBA, IMO - that behind the back move he likes to utilize won't work. Post game wasn't very good in college; and obviously, we're not going to emphasize that part of his game. And he makes a nice turn around...that was NOICE!
He'll be test a lot more against NBA offenses - they will put in situations where he's isolated against smaller, quicker, more athletic guards, and in space, he will struggle. He's very smart defensively; not really caught out of position a lot - has been able to recover nice when he's been out of position, though. He also has challenged a couple of 3-point attempts. 3-point shot is wet, good finisher, etc. This kid is a player...
Mo is looking great in the 1st half. Very skilled, showing a little of everything. 12 points, 7 rebounds, 2 blocks on 5/8 fg with 2 threes. Had a nice transition assist too.
The Lakers are being so f***ing lazy with the ball right now. This is infuriating. What the f*** is Miles Simon coaching these guys?
Caruso has been garbage these last few games. Like Real said, very lazy with the ball. Wagner too gets stripped quite a bit
That's what I'm saying; apparently, he is our player development guy, too. Maybe he's better at individual workouts...LOL!
Caruso has been wildly disappointing in just the limited time he's been here. Turnover after turnover after turnover and turnover today.
I've heard he does great work in individual workouts, but this is ugly. I know it's Summer League, but these guys look completely unprepared.
I don't think we can take his coaching struggles during the game and think he can't be successful in individual workouts. All coaches have different strengths. This is good experience. A lot of these turnovers are just unforced turnovers and lazy handle.
