We are so spoiled. The movie is over 4 months out and we're complaining about not having a second trailer despite having a good first one and a pretty long featurette.

We're totally spoiled. One Star Wars movie a year, maybe 2 at some point, tv shows/cartoons, books, comics, video games, a new land at Disney parks, wow. It's their fault though, they showed awesome stuff from the films at last year's Celebration, so to not show trailer 2 at that time or even Comic-con was a waste. We are 4 months out, yes, but the average movie fan I talk to still isn't quite sure what this movie is about, and showing us a trailer with Vader would help that. If they want to make a crapload of money on this, they should start the educational marketing already.

If they really want to make a crapload of money on this, they could do something for the community. Like a dollar of every ticket goes to the Savory Griddles Beach House Foundation.

Chills man, chills. Giant smile on my face. The characters look awesome, I love the droid, the new worlds look like stuff we've never seen, Felicity is looking better in the role to me after early questions, Donnie freakin Yen, and Darth freakin Vader. Cannot wait for this, it feels like the desperation mission with little chance of success that It's supposed to, and despite knowing the outcome, I really want to see this story now, I need to.

I had goosebumps on my goosebumps with Vader at the end there. I wish we are getting more of these kinds of movies from the Star Wars universe, movies that explore other aspects of the universe instead of rehashing what we already know (that makes sense right?). Can't wait for the Donnie Yen vs 10 Stormtroopers fight.

I'm with you, and I think we will get that in time. Episodes 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, etc will go that direction I assume. I assume by rehashing you mean Han Solo movies, which I still don't think we need. Now they're casting young Lando, and honestly I really don't need to see Han win the Falcon from Lando, the reference in Empire is enough. I'm not gonna be all geeked out like "OMG this is when Han won the Falcon, we actually saw it!", I don't care if we do or not. I'm up for going back in time like Kristian Harloff wants as well, some Old Republic movies, Jedi vs Sith wars, thousand or thousands of years before the SW saga films. I don't need a Boba Fett or Yoda movie. Honestly id only be interested in an Obi-Wan movie, Ewan McGregor is the perfect age to that right now.

Two things stick out: 1. The amazing shots that play with shadows and the shots that show what those enormous ships would look like from a planetary perspective. Gorgeous and intriguing.

    2. The music. Oh man! I absolutely adore what they're doing with the music.

So the trailer looks like the movie will be great. But I'm actually going the opposite way of you, Weezy. The more I see of Felicity, the more I am beginning to get nervous. I am getting this vibe from her perfromance, (don't ask me how I am getting this particular vibe from what little we've seen) but it almost feels like she is mailing it in a bit and she is there because her agent said it would be good to be in a Star Wars movie.

Misogynist. I bet you didn't like the new Ghostbusters either.

Seriously though, she doesn't look amazing or anything, just a little better. That shot of her walking across some sort of high up bridge right up to a tie fighter, loved it, can't recall seeing anything like that in visual style in a SW movie before. We will see in December, but even if she isn't very good, unless these trailers are incredibly deceiving I can't see how I won't like this movie, so we agree it looks great.

Right on with the Solo solo movie, not looking forward to it at all. Theres a good chance that movie can ruin an already awesome character for me. I'm all for an Obi Wan movie, he's the best thing that came from the prequels. Also agree with seeing the start of Jedi vs Sith and how that battle goes back forever ago.

Hell no. If they're fighting ghosts, who's making me sandwiches? I'm hoping those proton packs were actually vacuum cleaners. Would hate to think they aren't cleaning up after me.

First they try saving the world, then what? They get to vote?

Star Wars-Themed “Scum & Villainy Cantina” Coming to Hollywood
Wednesday, August 17th, 2016 at 3:06pm PST - by Jesse Gormley

Your childhood wish of hanging out in Mos Eisley’s cantina on Tatooine is about to come true, as reported Wednesday by Nerdist — as long as you’re in LA or willing to make the trip.

It’s all thanks to the Star Wars-inspired “Scum & Villainy Cantina,” which is coming to Hollywood this winter. The cantina promises an experience of “the most immersive galactic scenery this far into the outer-rim,” though it’s not currently clear if there’s any official Lucasfilm endorsement of this endeavor.

Don’t pack up the old X-34 landspeeder just yet: You’re gonna need reservations to get into the cantina. Available in two hour blocks, each reservation gets you two drinks of your choosing, a souvenir pint glass, a “scum and villainy” challenge coin and other surprises. If you like to live dangerously and laugh at the thought of reservations, you’ll be able to walk in, too. But only from 11 pm until 2 am, if seating is available.

It wouldn’t be much of a cantina without food, and while a specific menu hasn’t been made available, the Scum & Villainy Cantina promises food and drink all from a galaxy far, far away. Reservations for the Scum & Villainy Cantina open up next week on its website. You can also get updates about their menu on its Facebook page.

Costumes are encouraged, and if you’re truly lucky, you may even get threatened by a gangster who’s wanted dead on 12 systems while you’re there (just mind your arms)."
