Phoenix like us have no margin for error but will help us in their last 5 games. If they lose, it allows us to catch them, if they win against the Kings and Pelicans it helps us gain against those teams
Just can't a 3 way tie with Sac: Trevor Lane pointed out if tied with Sac and say the Kings it an average win percentage across all 3 teams which is the 1st tiebreaker and Kings sweep puts the Lakers last out of the 3
I had MIN going into PHO and winning, but they were never in it, going into the 4th down 16. Naz Reid 3 for 13; Antman 6 for 19. MIN shot 39%. Damn. In the GSW@DAL game: Luka out. DAL up 9 with 3:38 left and GSW ties it on Steph 3 and then 2 with 13 secs left. Hardaway hits PJ Washington under the hoop with 4 secs left: heavy contest by two players but good rhythm and timing by Washington. Klay's 3 to win it glances off the side of the rim. DAL wins by 2. In that frikkin' SAC game In BOS they came all the way back. One of the white guy buzz cut Bags hits a 3 with 6:44 left to go up 18. All the Bags scrubs are in. SAC goes on a 21-2 run to go up 100-99 with 27 secs left. Then Tillman finds a lose ball and hits a leaping lena with 7 secs left to put the Bags back up 1, Fox misses a pull-up jay, Murray gets the ORB and misses the 7-foot put-back/tip, Colby Jones gets the ORB and misses a 4 foot put-back/tip: buzzer and game over. Whew! As Slick said above, it's easy to look at this game and think the Bags tried to give it away. Coughing up a 21-2 run in the 4th to go down 1 point with 27 secs left? I demand an investigation! (LOL) On SAT April 6th our game vs. the Cavs is the only game that has any relevance to us.
Hmm.... 6th seed we face the Thunder --- easiest 1st round matchup 7th/8th seed and if we win the play-in game we face the Nuggets --- might be our only chance of taking them out before Murray recovers I'm not sure which scenario I prefer.
