What an exciting time for NBA fans not Laker fans, though, I just feel anger and hopelessness :giggle:

Nice loss by OKC , Draymond said on his podcast Warriors would prefer to finish 6th cause it would be a 45 mins flight to SAC .

Warriors may or may not tank their home game against OKC

Memphis on a tear even when Ja wasn't around. Clips are 7-3 in their last 10. Everyone else between us and them including us is 5-5 or 6-4. Basically nothing has changed in about 10 games. Only 7 games remain, so hopefully we hold it together and get this team some postseason experience together, figure out who the keepers are, etc.

Lots of offseason decisions coming up.

Kings and Grizz probably will gift wrap wins to our opponents once their playoffs seed and position are clinched by resting their best players.

Kings play Blazers twice on the road then SAS at home .. then an away B2B at NOP and Dallas , it will probably result in two losses

Two of the last 3 regular season games for the Grizz are at NOP and OKC , it will probably result in two losses aswell

yeah at this point seems we're doomed to the play-in. Hopefully we can at least get one of the top 2 spots.

They're all important, and our game is obviously the most important. After that, the next most important are the Dallas and OKC games, as we would fall behind each of them and be in 11th, out of the play in again, if we lose and they win.

We had everything in our hands, it's our fault this thing goes to the wire. I predict we'll end up 9/10th and don't make the PO.

i'm a bit surprised philly's been sitting these guys given that they have a shot at home court in the second round against boston. it reminds me of when milwaukee didn't prioritize that and lost to boston in a game 7 on the road.

the chicago game is large. the no-show at home against them turned this into a must-win (i was expecting a split but hoping we'd take the first one to relieve the pressure on the second).

i mean, we're obviously not out if we lose, but it would really feel like it, dropping two straight games to your EC play-in counterpart...

Hell yeah..every game is huge. Folks were acting like we had accomplished something by beating OKC. The rest of the teams we play, are trying to win too..even the Rockets.

This isn't an easy schedule at all IMO..we are fully capable of losing 4 or 5 of these remaining games. That's if Lebron, AD and D'Angelo don't show up. If the do...we can win em all.

Yup we have to actually win every game from here on out....or at least up to a certain point we need to win each game. These next 2 are HUGE for us if we want to be any sort of "threat" come playoff time everyone is saying we are. Even though these are all road games, we should win every single road game on this 4 game road trip with our full lineup. Yes, Twolves are going to be tough but I think even with their full lineup, we should still beat them.

They’re 2.5 games back of the C Bags now and would lose the tiebreaker so they’re functionally 3.5 back. That’s probably too much to overcome now, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they quietly wouldn’t mind falling to the 4 seed and being on the Bucks’ side of the bracket. They play the Bucks pretty well and Boston has had their number for a while now.

Now apparently Jokic is questionable to play against the Pelicans tomorrow, it’s maddening how lucky the Pelicans are getting with guys sitting out against them although they are playing well in their own right.

Chicago is on a roll and w/o backup center it's a one of the tougher matchups for the lakers: they're a lot bigger and have two big wings. They are team designed to the beat the Lakers.

This is why going 2-10 to start the season and sitting players against doormats, and not signing a 10 day really comes back to haunt this team

Jesus man...We'll need Thomas Bryant to go NUTS for us if Jokic sits, which looks very likely.

Then again...Idk if the Nuggets should be sitting players right now....Memphis is on a tear and they coudl catch up to them if Nuggets suffer any more losses and their schedule features the Suns twice (both are away), Warriors, and Kings (last game of season). Alternatively, the Grizzlies got Clippers 2x (at home), blazers, @bulls, @pels, @thunder and @Bucks (who will likely be resting their guys by then). Realistically the Grizzlies COULD win out...and the Nuggets could lose some of these games after the Pelicans game tomorrow. By no means should the Nuggets be resting anybody until they've locked up #1 because the Grizzlies can still catch them.

Nuggets are up 3 games with 7 to play, I think the #1 seed is probably safe. Also, if the 4/5 seed and up being Suns/Warriors or even Suns/Clippers, if I’m the Nuggets part of me might even prefer being in the other side of the bracket. They probably still take the #1 seed though given how good they are at home.

Denver sitting jokic is weak sauce; trying to avoid us, imo
