    538 suggests:
    Kings > Jazz
    Clippers > Pelicans

That would give the Lakers a little breathing room and keep them in 8th.

I'd love for the sixers to beat the suns tonight too - both are coming off a b2b so it'll be a toss up.

The suns btw have lost 6 of 7 and their remaining schedule is not easy....they have sixers, twolves, nuggets 2x, clippers, lakers, spurs, jazz and thunder remaining. They're lucky that KD is returning though...that should give them enough cushion.

Win 5 of the remaining 8 likely keeps us in the 7-8 slot.
would probably need to go 6-2 if we have any shot at the 6 seed.

I want Clippers and Penix to stay 4-5 so they play each other in the first round and the winner gets Denver in round 2

1 of 3. Only one I had any confidence in pulled it out. The other two were 20 and 21 point blowouts. Kawhi had to leave the Clipps game with a facial contusion and from what I read, Russ didn't play the final 18 minutes. I wonder if he had fun though. That's what matters.

Trey Murphy had the best shooting night of his life, going 10-12 from 3. I didn't watch the whole game, but I think Westbrook's "defense" may have had something to do with that, lol.

Kawhi will prob be fine...but if he isn't, the Clips could conceivably fall out of the playoffs...and theoretically, even out of the play-in! I doubt it, but I do think it's still in play for the Lakers to pass the Clips.

clippers exist solely to piss me off.

bpi now predicts a 5-way tie from 7-11 in the west, lol. us, dallas, minny, NO, and okc projected at about 41 wins. if such a thing happened (not even sure if it's really possible given the interplay, but it probably still is), imagine being the team that lost the convoluted tiebreaker and was out. or the team that won the convoluted tie-breaker and got two home games in the play-in. nightmare for the league, especially if the lakers or dallas end up out. doncic or lebron out of the playoffs because of some rules you never thought would be invoked.

    1. Division winner (this criterion is applied regardless of whether the tied teams are in the same division)

    2. Best head-to-head winning percentage among all teams tied

    3. Highest winning percentage within division (if teams are in the same division)

    4. Highest winning percentage in conference games

    5. Highest winning percentage against playoff teams in own conference

    6. Highest point differential between points scored and points allowed

Number 1 won't apply here as Nuggets , Grizz and Kings will win their respective division

OKC will likely beat Portland tonight, but the Wolves will probably lose against GSW.

Of course Derozan is playing against us. Always the “return” against the Lakers.

    D Lo better be playing.

derozan's been pissed at us since lebron and AD wined and dined him and then dumped him for russ. you know he's going for 40 and will be hitting crazy midrange shots at a 100% clip for the last five minutes of the game. he will then lay an egg against the next non-lakers opponent, lillard style.

patrick beverley is famous for standing on a table and celebrating after a play-in victory over his former team. we let caruso walk for less than a league average salary. and derozan cannot stop talking about how he thought he was going to play for us and then didn't.

there's not a team more motivated to stick it to us aside from the clippers.

And Nikoleta left the screen plastic on all the dash and media screens to help with resale value. My wife still has them on too. Drives me crazy!!! Lol. True story…
