LeBron and probably DLO out tomorrow @Memphis. Unfortunately, that's probably a loss. Next three are @OKC (back-to-back), vs. Minnesota and vs. Golden State. We'll likely be favored in all three, it seems like SGA will be out for OKC. If we win those three, we'd be 32-33 with vs. Toronto, vs. NY, @ New Orleans and @Houston on March 15th on the horizon. I'm pretty confident we're over .500 on March 16th.
Well f***. LeBron missing extended time is bad enough, but missing this stretch against all the teams in front of us is particularly awful.
Way to go Mickey Mouse! Pels have been really bad in this 25 game run without Zion. 7-18. We are 1/2 a game back from them and Portland.
There's also our draft pick for this year implications if Pelicans keep sliding down the standings right?
we get the worst of the two picks, so the closer we are to them, the better, and if we surpass them, we give up nothing. really, their losses are actually even better than our wins in some ways. not that i want this to happen at all, but if we both were terrible for the rest of the year, and they were just a little more terrible, we could be talking about having a lottery pick this year. could be the silver lining if more catastrophic things happen. anyway, i'm expecting their pick to be ours, so i've been rooting for pels losses all year. people were calling me a hater for it earlier in the year, but it's just logic. their loss is literally our gain. i can promise all eleven pels fans are praying nightly for us to lose.
Some significant ones tonight: Kings vs. Thunder - Kings should take this without SGA Pacers vs. Mavs - unless Turner goes ham, I don't expect Pacers to win. Spurs vs. Jazz - Spurs are just too awful to help. Blazers vs. GS - GS needs to win. Maybe Dame is still tired from his 71. Wolves vs. Clipps - hurts to say, but Clipps need to pull this one out.
Wow we're getting some help tonight... Spurs/Jazz are tied with only 3 mins left...Let's go SPURS! Kings beat the Thunder AGAIN. PACERS beat the Mavs!!! BUT...unfortunately for us... Blazers are spanking the Warriors on the road (!!!) 65-48 at half Clippers are DOWN at HOME to the Twolves at half 58-56 Need Warriors and Clippers to come back and win...however it's not the worst thing in the world if both those teams lose and continue to free fall as a result...
Their only W together was against the Spurs? EEK! Speaking of the Spurs, they shocked the world and ended their 16 game losing streak. Beating the Jazz Some good news throughout the league for us. Wolves/Clippers could go either way. Still a half to play. Don't think GS can come back on Portland. Dray is dinged up and Klay is 1-11 right now.
