I can't believe i'm talking about it so early in the season. Is there a great SF potential in the 2016 draft?

LOL I was thinking this was going to be about potential college coaches to replace Boron.

No choice because Boron has guaranteed we will be at the bottom 3.

    Ben Simmons would be great.

The past two season I've followed college prospects more than usual because we were likely to get a top pick, I don't think I can do it again for a third season.....

Ben Simmons, Jaylen Brown, and Brandon Ingram.

Those are your Top 3 SF prospects.

Simmons is by far the most talented, but has the "young generation" syndrome where he doesn't do a lot of the little things that make a champion. He's gotten by on his immense talent. He's a great passer and can attack the basket, but he's not a good shooter at all. He's about 6'10" and athletic and he could probably play the 3 or 4 in the NBA today. They say he's the most exciting prospect since LeBron.

Jaylen Brown is sort of a Stanley Johnson type player. He hasn't shown a ton offensively but he's very athletic and a strong defender.

Ingram is very, very thin but has a long, lanky body that will hopefully fill out over time. He's a good shooter although not great at much else. He gives solid effort on both sides though.

    Sounds like i want Simmons.
On a side note, Philadelphia should be banned from the NBA.

I think we need to look at the center spot as well. If we somehow landed #1, you take Simmons. But if we land at 2 or 3 (anything further we lose the pick), Skal Labissiere from Kentucky seems like a real good pick. I haven't seen him, but scouting reports say he has a nice post game and great shot blocking instincts. He's listed as a 4/5 which means he probably is more of today's modern center. But we need shot blocking and a post presence from our center. Those are apparently his two biggest strengths.

What has this world come to where it is mid November and we are already talking about a top 3 pick for the second year in a row. Granted, if we get that pick and our youth (Clarkson/Randle/Russell) continues to develop, we are 3-4 years away from being an absolute juggler knot.

We aren't getting that pick, sorry, but we're not. That's why B0ron needs to go ASAP, because the only thing we can salvage of this season is our current youth, teaching them better and helping along their development. To get that pick we have to be one of the worst few teams in the NBA and THEN hope for a lucky bounce, again.

Barring some kind of injury, Simmons and Skal will go 1-2.

Why not? We're 2-10 right now and if Byron keeps his job then I don't see any reason to think they can't keep the pick the way things are going right now. We're on pace for about 13 wins right now and we haven't even hit the difficult part of the schedule.
