I'm a little surprised that Cam didn't get any minutes last night. He's a flawed player, but since he's been here I think he's done a good job of bringing energy and effort when he gets back into the rotation after he's been out of it for a while.
He's a bad fit next to Doncic on offense - teams sellout on him too much so that a guy with bad offensive games worsens things a lot Plus Godwin has totally taken his place (rightfully so) and then Vando whose a better defender/rebounder with his own offensive challenges I get where you're coming from though as it was frustrating all those Nets scrubs making every shot
Currently 4th, only .5 back from Memphis and Denver. But we only have a .5 cushion above Houston. Not much help the past two nights. We really need to go for it tonight cause we're not winning in altitude on the 2nd night of a back to back with all the injuries. No Jax, Rui, or Bron for either of these. Get tonight's and rest tomorrow. If we lose both Denver games that hurts seeding wise, so hopefully we've got some bodies back for the next one and we can split the two.
At this point - with so many injuries - I think we should just focus on making the playoffs even as the #6 seed and getting healthy. If anyone comes back too early, and they are injured again, they won't be available in the playoffs, and then we're going nowhere.
yeah, bad time to be hit with injuries, and blowing the bkn game really hurts. i've resigned myself to hanging onto that 6 spot. if we can do that and get everyone back, i'm good.
After tonight’s loss we’ll be 40-24 and the Warriors will be 37-28 so we have a 3.5 game lead, however we won the season series. Next 5 for the Lakers: @ DEN, vs PHX, vs SAS, vs DEN, vs MIL Next 5 for GS: vs SAC, vs NY, vs DEN, vs MIL, vs TOR.
Might as well sit AR too. Setup for a run after this awful stretch of basically scheduled losses and get everyone healthy with some rest as well.
I agree. Just send a D-League team out there. Avoid additional injuries to starters as much as possible.
