That should be a flagrant 2 and they should be allowed to kick him in the nuts back freely.

i think jockeying is pointless, tbh. minny, gs, and the clips have all won at like a 90% rate for a while now. no matchup except the 1/8 is going to be easy this year. well, i guess if memphis keeps sinking, maybe drawing them? and even then you've still got tony montana and poor man's AD over there.

Read that Malone is dismissive of Minnesota's run of success against them. Comments that they play hard against them only.

Currently, we're #3 in the West and playing Minny in the 1st round. This will all change, of course. I think we should just keep gelling and playing good basketball as much as possible. We can beat anyone but OKC in the first round (I have zero fear of GSW, for example, the Clips might be more of a challenge; HOU can't shoot and their most important guys need more experience, we will beat MEM easily, we can finally overcome the "barrier" that is Denver).

I say bring it on. If we end up facing the Clippers and Kawhi is magically able to string 7 excellent games in a row without

so be it. But I'll believe it when I see it. We just need to show up against the Warriors tonight and make a statement.

Can Chet last a whole playoffs? He's so thin and he looked like he could barely stand up yesterday in the 4th quarter playing a physical Detroit team with Duran inside. Detroit caused them more problems than the boxscore indicated and the Pistons didn't have Cade or Ivey.

Not really sure why OKC is going so hard right now - they have a 3 game lead on the Cavs so I would be trying to avoid injury to some of these guys

Why do people hype up the Clippers every year? They do it every single season and they choke every single season usually because Kawhi gets hurt.

Because they think that - for once! - Kawhi will be healthy. And they are quite good when he's healthy, but I personally don't believe he can go 7 games in the playoffs, full bore.

This is stupid. Just confirms that they're a regular season team with a regular season mentality.

Lakers > OKC. If healthy and clicking, we're gonna win the West. Book it.

Today's game is precisely why I said I don't want any part of the Warriors. I think they match up the best against us among West teams. And I don't think it's close, tbh.

Ehh one game is not an indication they would beat us in a 7 game series.

The Warriors barely beat us with Luka having an off night. I’d rather play GSW over OKC any day of the week.

Bad night for us. Lost to the Warriors. Memphis and Minny won too.

It's not , would be an exclamation point to an already historical season .

    They're young , they're fine stamina wise

Obviously OKC is in a different tier. I think we can beat the other 6 teams quite handily.

i've got some bad news for you:

    upload_2025-4-4_7-30-9.png

i think we have three more losses on the schedule, minimum, which actually still puts us in jeopardy of the play-in, though it's pretty slim odds now.

but man, some of those bad losses are really haunting right now.

This is huge as far as where we will be slotted in the playoffs

Lakers will win the 2nd game at OKC but lose the B2B at Dallas .

Worst case scenario with 33 losses is the 6th seed .

A lot depend on the Warriors -Nuggets game tonight .. If the Warriors win it ( unlikely) we can say goodbye to HCA imo.

It was a crucial game we just lost .

Anyone can lose on any given night. It's hard to predict what's going to happen. We just have to try to win em all, and let the dust settle where it may. If we are healthy we are a legit problem for every team in the West. Home court advantage or not.

BBall Reference's playoff probabilities report gives us a 24.2% chance at the 3 seed, 24.3% chance at the 4 seed, 18.7% chance at the 5 seed, and 15.6% chance at the 6 seed. 83.8% chance overall to stay out of the play in. Of the entire 3-8 jumble (Houston has the 2 seed basically locked up), the most likely slot for any team is the Nuggets at the 3 seed.
