Yeah Kelly definitely has the type of basketball IQ where hes going to definitely scrap to make the most of any possible situation and put himself in the best position to succeed/help the team win. Sometimes it does show up on the stat sheet, other times it doesnt. Hes one of those players. If he can become out Nick Collison type player that can also knock down the 3, thats a definite win.
Well this sucks.... http://www.lakersnation.com/lakers-news-ryan-kelly-expected-to-miss-at-least-six-weeks/2014/11/17/
Awful news. He's one of the reasons I was optimistic about this team - wanted to see his development.
At this point, nothing surprises me. I guess this kind of season has to happen to any fan, sooner or later. I have nothing to look forward to at this point, except that draft pick. We're awful, so it's going to happen. With some young guys and Randle, we might be able to re-ignite the franchise. Make us the new Thunder, so to speak. I don't see what else can be done at this point. Too bad about Kelly, really.
Kareem's recent quote about the Lakers being due for some serious bad luck has never looked more true.

Seems like it was a little longer period of rehab this time for whichever hamstring was hurt. Damn I hope he is over them and can play from here on out. He is a legitimate 7' or close to 7' player like Sacre. But with multiple skills and I think a streak of toughness and competitiveness in him. He was an integral part of a good Duke team his last year in college before the foot injury and last year after the All Star break for the Lakers.
He's baaaack. Happy to hear this. Could take some time to work into bball shape properly, but I'm excited.
