    He's solidified a roster spot.

Hibbert was just as excited for Ryan's dunk as the kids. He was jumping all over the place. Great vibes on this squad.

Tough calls for Byron on the cuts. Sacre, hate to say it, is at the moment looking more solid than Upshaw. Upshaw is not the most coordinated of cats nor that athletic either. Upshaw has to get physically stronger or something. I think he can. Hoping we keep a roster spot for him.

Why do we have to keep one or the other though? If we don't want to keep Upshaw, why can't we send Sacre packing too? We have Black, we don't need Sacre. I'd leave roster spots open and keep an eye out for a big in the D-League or something rather than keeping Sacre just because. Look for a Whiteside situation, I dunno, but please don't keep Sacre because he's big and 6 fouls.

Kelly owed that dunk for the botched inbound pass on the previous play. You can screw up, just redeem yourself in epic fashion. Fisher and Artest were famous for that stuff.

It seems that Kelly has improved his overall game completely. He is starting to look like the player he was at Duke. Not the fastest or strongest, but always able to somehow make some plays and have an impact on the game. Good showing from him tonight, and then there was THE DUNK!

Who would've thought that playing him at his actual position would make him a decent player

And you all laughed when I said he could fly. :Magic2: He made a mistake but made up for it. How long since we had a game winner made through a smart play. Certainly those plays have been few and far between with Byron manning the play board. Well done Ryan Kelly and his incognito dunk.

I would like to retract my early training camp statement that we should cut Kelly. He's finally healthy and he's been good so far. He gives this team versatility being a stretch four and he plays smart.

Kelly looks like he's put on muscle on his frame. He knows his limitations and will not force anything. From what I saw last season, I like his overall game. Instinctual and smart. It remains to be seen how many minutes he'll get but he won't be a total liability on the floor. Kelly won't be a spot up specialist like a Ryan Anderson or Steve Novak but he'll do enough of other things to be better than those two...
