Meh Rui is a very flawed player who doesn't pass the ball well, rebound well, or screen. Rui not getting minutes is the least of the Lakers problems
Well..it depends on whether he's knocking down shots..that's why he's in the League. I like Rui, but you are correct on some of that, some matchups aren't ideal for his skillset.
Ham is “Unimpressed Squirrel” though. His Big Dog from their Atlanta past needs minutes for that contract elsewhere next year and doesn’t give a **** he’s likely going to get our shot at Kawhi lite with a personality who loves it here ….. traded.
Bumpy shooting night. 3s were good, 2s were mixed. Looked better battling in the post defensively. Gobbled up boards, got a swat, knocked a couple loose. Tried hard on the perimeter but Tatum is faster and shook him on the perimeter a bit.
This was his best game in a long time particularly his defense and rebounding. Against certain tweener types he's a good matchup for like Tatum
We need Rui to have a big game tonight - he has played well against the Nuggets and he SHOULD have been starting last year in game 1 but Ham decided to go SMALL against a team that was BIG (schroder DLO Reaves). WHen Rui came in, we made a comeback and nearly stole game 1 from Denver. I think that one mistake from Ham cost us the entire series.
