Ronnie better give us the pre-workout type mentality on the floor or hes going to be out of the league sooner rather than later. Didnt do his thang last night. STEP UP.

I don't have a clue what a flagrant foul 1 and 2 are anymore after this. When I saw it happen Live I thought it could maybe be a flagrant foul 1, but instead it was called 2 and he's even suspended now for that.....

I don't know man he hit him really hard in the face and head. I don't think there was intent there so a suspension is iffy, but definitely if that were Lin or something we'd all expect a Flagrant 2 in the game.

I think it was a fair. Sorta soft for what the league is today? Sure. But they also had to set the tone for the season I believe, game was also in New Orleans. Back on Price though, he better start playing again like he did in pre-season and pre-New Orleans game because Collison and Rivers were easily having their way with him. No excuses.

It's time for him to go. I loved what he brought in the preseason, but so far this guy has given us nothing offensively and average defense at best. He's shooting 26% from the field, 17% from 3 point land and has become a guy on offense no one even bothers guarding. One possession last night he gave the ball to Kobe and then walked out of the picture on the screen to half court.

We are really giving that 21 minutes a game? Could JC not give us that type of production? Price is definitely not coming back next season, but JC is, so why are we developing him? I get relying on veterans and Scott being old school in that sense, but there is a difference between relying on veterans that are good and ones that just suck. Byron's offense is give the ball to Kobe on an iso, so why not play the floor spacer in JC?

A D-league guy or a guy on 10 day doing this would not last and Ronnie shouldn't either.

    Bring on Mekel.

I like Ronnie, but he's the PG version of Sacre. He only does one thing and he does it averagely (Sacre has a jump shot, that's it).

Ronnie seems like a good teammate and a guy who is easy to support, but he's simply not bringing us anything. We have too many guys that fit that description. If we can upgrade one or two of them then we need to.

That might be the perfect description of him. Price is a better fit on a team that is either fully rebuilding with youth or a playoff team as a veteran presence who can run out on the court, not screw up, and provide stability.

We have too many needs for him to benefit us.

I agree. Ronnie has given us nothing. I don't understand Byron's love affair with playing him. Whatever momentum we have disappears when he comes in the game.

I agree, let JC get the playing time and allow him a chance to grow as a player and see what he can do on the NBA level. It's not like we're a contender or anything.

As Doc said, he was great in the preseason (opposite of Ellington) and we are paper thin at PG. But man, he really hasn't done anything in the regular season. Like realdeal said, let's see what Mekel can do. Can it really be worse? Worse than nothing at all? Is that possible?

I thought that Ronnie showed a lot of promise in the preseason. Yes, he can't shoot. But he played excellent D and hustled a lot. But now... one can see that individual defense means nothing on a poor defensive team, which leaves us with a guard who can create a shot, can't really shoot and generally, doesn't do anything for us. Put him on a good playoff team, and he can be very useful off the bench in limited minutes. Our team just doesn't need his skills at this point. I would rather play someone young, to see if he can develop into a contributor.

Probably thinking itll be too tough for a new PG to come in and learn the system or theyre trying to trade a player or two to make room.

I like him, but this dude needs to be cut. He's not worth the one out of every five games that he does something effective.

Ronnie Price might be the most offensively challenged Laker I've seen since . . . Kwame? It's painful to watch.
