Price is going to play a in tomorrow's preseason game against GSW.

I know he's probably not going to start, but heck try him out on Curry and see how he handles that test.

Did Byron say that or is it being reported that he's going to play? Why the hell not....makes sense. Let's see what he's got. I just need to see him. "Eye Test" [IMG]

Looking forward to Price's debut! Let's see how he does. He's got a tough assignment if he ends up on Curry.

Nash and Lin aren't stoppers by any means. I like Price's defense even when played in Utah. I can see him sticking to quicker guards like a Paul or a Lillard. Price's offense is spotty but he will not try play beyond his capabilities.

That's a pretty good analogy for what Price might be for this team.

Price has always been a feisty type. That's the kind of attitude we need on this team.

The report was just that Byron wanted to get his starters/2nd stringers an opportunity to work together. As the pre-season goes on he'll let the deeper bench guys get more run.

He was solid tonight. Not bad for a guy who's supposed to be a 3rd stringer.

I thought so, too. Very happy to have this guy. He should play some minutes no matter what. Even if Nash is healthy. He's a contributor.

Definitely saw the bulldog in him, quickness and athleticism (awww geeeez..... that word now has been forever "tainted" [IMG] )

Then when he drained a couple of long Js he really looked like something. Apparently not his consistently strong suit. Handles looked reasonably OK. Like I've said, hopefully Scott, the "guards" coach can take him "offensively" past where he has been poorly maxed out at in the past.

Loved his energy. He gambled a bit too much and tried to make up for it with his athleticism. He's undersized and has trouble getting through screens. In one-on-one situations though I'm very pleased with the way he played. He ran the offense decently. I know it's unlikely he "develops" at his age, but it'd be helpful if he learned when/where to pick his spots to take shots. The defense a lot of times just crowded the middle on us and made it difficult to get to the rim. If he takes and makes that jumper more often, he's a really good weapon for a 3rd string PG actually.

Well he will certainly be getting his chance to play with Clarkson and Lin out for the next game on Sunday

He should make the team due to Nash's issues. Hopefully Lin and Price can remain healthy.
