Rondo WANTS to go to Dallas/Houston. C Bags might be helping him out. Plus, they wont deal with the Lakers if they don't have to

Wright is about as good as Ed Davis and is Ed Davis worth Rondo in a trade? I don't think so. Lin's value is depressed by our coach/Kobe, but I see your point. Next season if I have to pick between Lin and Davis, I might go Davis. Then again, Lin could be better in Boston than here where we have ball-dominant wings.

Dallas's pick is better than Houston's now, but would it be after they got Rondo? I doubt it.

I've seen reports that he'd be "open to re-signing there" not that he's demanding a trade to those teams. In fact I think he'd be an absolutely dreadful fit for Houston. A complete waste.

Actually that'd be great. Trade him to Houston so he can leave there in the summer.

I am good with us trading anyone on this team outside of Kobe. If Boston will take one of these guys and the Houston pick for Rondo, I can't see how we can turn that down.

As far as the Rockets, I can't see Rondo co-existing too well with Dwight but I guess we would see.

Oh no we'd rather have Wright and Dallas' 1st. Wut?

Hmmm. Wonder what the three way deal would have looked like. Knowing Mitch, it was probably for the Lakers to send out Lin, first rounder, and Hill and get back Melo and Rondo. ;););)

^Not necessarily...Chandler has been injury prone; so has Rondo. If they are healthy, they have a good as chance as any to come out the Western conference, though.

Noooooooooo! Just saw this on tv. Wright, Nelson, Jae Crowder and picks, no way we could top that. Oh well, this is at least one more team to stop LeBron from winning a title, so I'm glad for that. How this changes our off season plans I do wonder though, this is one example of how going the constant swing for the fences free agency route can backfire.

Done deal. What a crap trade for them man. That's a terrible trade for Rondo. I think Hill/1st for Rondo would have been better than that. Even Houston's 1st which will end up now being better than Dallas'.

I don't know, I'm not sure Hill/1st is better than Wright/Crowder/Nelson/1st & 2nds. For one thing they'd have had to wait another month to do that trade. Another thing is, honestly, don't see Ainge wanting to do us any favors.
