Rondo (like Odom) Not Receiving Playoff Share

    The players vote and get their share of the playoff money. When Odom was on the Mavs, the players decided to give him nothing and shared it among the other 14 players.

    This time, something similar happened except Rondo was not even on the list. :D

    Maybe someone like the Pelicans or Kings or Hornets could make SOME use of him. Looking at every team in the NBA, I just don't see any teams that have any use for him. It really is astonishing how far his stock has fallen. I'm trying to think of an instance that's similar. I mean, the dude couldn't even behave in a contract year. Maybe on the court you can't control how well you play due to other players actively working against you. But being a douche is completely in your control. He cost himself millions of dollars because he couldn't help from being a scumbag. How insane is that? To him, being a jerk was more important to him than millions of dollars.

    i think he figured that how carlisle was going to use him was driving down his price anyway, so he tried to minimize the damage by not playing.

    bad move, though. and carlisle is a highly respected, championship coach. this isn't jeff bzdelik you're trying to walk over.
