if healthy, he certainly is. especially a late-/non-lotto pick. but I'm guessing his back's shot. you'd think det would do its homework there, though, right? they're gambling on making the playoffs for sure. morey true to form, though. he didn't want motiejunas messing up his flexibility in the summer, so he opted for another mid-first round pick that they will semi-develop then trade for another mid-first in two years.
rockets also acquired the rights to none other than chukwudiebere maduabum, that mysterious lakers 2nd round pick years ago apparently this is the third time his rights have been traded and he's yet to appear in a NBA game. which i highly doubt he ever will based off the fact that he's still virtually unheard of
as i said in my earlier post in this thread: motiejunas's back injury pretty much determines who ends up "winning" this trade. if i'm det, i'm quite worried about a guy who had summer back surgery and has had a hard time getting and staying on the floor this year.
could end up a blessing in disguise for houston. if motiejunas can play, he helps them solidify a playoff spot this year. and if his back ISN'T a major concern, it could be a big win. remember when okc pulled out of the tyson chandler trade for injury reasons...only to lose to his team a year later in the conference finals? now, back injuries are a different animal...
