Mike Trudell needs his own show. He's the only one I've liked when he would guest appearance and temporary have his own show with Michael Thompson.
This 100% Get ahead of these media hacks and make your own narrative. Let the fans call BS on it...but at least it's your narrative. The silence kinda shows apathy or fear in escalating/feeding the issue. What's wild is that we're still leaking stuff to the media that enables them to look bad ie the coaching search and the AD trade re-up (did Griff leak anything about the ATL deal?) I guess they can all stay silent, but that sets up a dangerous slippery slope.
Until we're all proud? No wonder they have been mute the last 2 months. Anytime they speak they sound like a crappy infomercial.
I think Jeanie should go the doesn't route. Anytime Rob and Jeanie talk, inside of bowels start to rumble.
Speaking of crap, when you just start firing from the hip for no good reason is the only thing that would give me pause if I had the call to you hosting our podcast. Your opinions aren't all that and can offend lots of folks.
I do find it interesting that the press is up in arms about being banned, when the press ceased to be the press a long time ago.
I know you want your owners to be sleek and oily but I'm supporting what Jeannie the Lakers are doing now, do your job in the shadows not the limelight. No one needs to know what mystery meat comprises a hotdog, What is important is the result, my good friend @LTLakerFan will call out everybody later who doubted Jeannie and Rob.
We have Lebron and are about to get AD. We also have a path to an (almost) max slot. If not for the Deng contract, we’d have it. We can all speculate on how much Pelinka had to do with getting us where we’re at today, but it’s happened while he is the GM. Could we be in a better place with someone else? Possibly. All I know is we’re in a better place then we’ve been in many years, so I’m going to let him do his job and not expect the organization to give me updates. Ill stay in my lane and judge them by how far we make it in the playoffs.
well, i'll also judge based on how we fill out the roster. though people preached patience last august with the post-lebron signings, it's very clear that everyone was rightfully alarmed. let's stop screwing up easy stuff like that. rondo for 9 million? stephenson and beasley for any million? kcp for more than the MLE? c'mon.
KCP gets a pass to me. That was a Klutch thank you for bringing LeBron. And ultimately I think there was a "f*** it" mentality with some of those guys. The one I was most upset with was Beasley anyway and letting Brook go. Definitely Rob will be measured against this summer, 3rd max guy or no. So far though, so good.
I don’t really know the true relationship between Pelinka and Magic, but given all the screwups that Magic admitted to, my gut places the blame on him. That variable is now eliminated, so we’ll get to see how Pelinka does.
