I have no idea what Rob was thinking the benefit of his behavior was regarding Magic (bad mouthing and passive aggressive office stuff).

The only motive I can think of was this was his plan all along... to get Magic fired or quit so he can have full control

This isn’t news, but I’m loving these guys making the best of a joke of a situation with Pelinka

Helps I guess if you listened to their podcast from yesterday on how Rob would walk around the offices asking people if they’d seen Magic that day, knew where he was, etc, passive aggressive snake.

Gawd, I miss this guy. Yet another reason I despise George/Mintz. Made this trade to make room for a 2nd max slot.

Fam, don't believe all the hype. Someone that is Mamba-certified may have something going for him and time will definitely tell (and I'm not talking about the old head that mods here, although sauces have it that he's Mamba-certified as well)...

Results speak for themselves; he will have every opportunity this summer to show his worth.

If he does well, we eat crow. If he doesn't, we criticize.

That's how it goes...hopefully, he doesn't overrule the scouting department like Magic did...;)

    Always the same folks haha...

First the fraudulent multiple offender/fined tampering narrative...now the overruling of our scouting dept.

For an absentee exec, Magic sure left an imprint with most y'all in the limited time he was in the office.

Keep that same energy when we're "back, back"...

All the reports vaguely alluded to Pelinka being a snake who execs/players don’t like working with. This thing with Nance was the only specific example I recall hearing about.

And it’s been confirmed to be false.

I wonder what else we’ve heard over the past few weeks has been false or misrepresented? Seems like a smear campaign that everyone bought into...

Yeah I don’t know what’s really going on. When they hired Rob the narrative was about all the connections he had league wide.

He drafted f****** Bongo ahead of Svi who our whole staff was allegedly very high on. Personally I can't imagine the consensus in the organization was Bongo make sure we got and allow Svi to possibly be gone at the slot we got him. My guess is Magic on that. Bongo is nothing if not a project. Svi had skills. Hate that we chucked him so soon for Bollocks.

I actually think the Svi for Bullock was a good trade had we made the playoffs, he shot close to 37% from 3's with us, it didn't seem like it but thats what stats says, and I assuming that was the best % during that time frame on the entire team even better than KCPoop

:SadPau2: .... yeah but what if Svi looks considerably better and in that same range in year 2. He's athletic, good sized and with more all around game and we had him dirt cheap on 2nd round contract. Not saying Bullocks sucks at all but bang for the buck going forward. And I'm with the guy with the South Bay Lakers who said he wanted to watch his Svi Tree grow.

no agruments from me on that matter, I mentioned that Svi and Huerter were going to be the 2 best shooters from that draft class (that was before I saw Shamet play). So I do share the oppt. with Svi at same time I understood the trade, we needed someone who could produce now at that time.
