I'm not sure when, but I have a feeling something is going to happen to at least one of these players by the trade deadline.

I just think those 3 guys are being available purely for cap relieving purposes n not actual assets, none of those 3 will get us what dlo got IMO, maybe we get lucky n get some high 2nd rders at least

I just think you're wrong on cap relief only with those three guys. You must think Magic and Rob are the dumbest people in the entire league. Of course we know Zen does.

Honestly, I don't see anything surprising about this. We've been trying to move these guys for a while. I guess now the pressure has been lit under them due to the terrible performance on the floor and players (naturally) getting tired of the whole mess.

No i don't think theyre dumb, i think thats their primary goal....who would you give up a 1st rd pick for if those 3 werent on the lakers?

Well mgmt doesnt want any future salary back, so most option's for value back is either picks or salary dump...if the goal is to move any of those 3 for a pick, who would you summise to garner a 1st rd pick? N if they werent on our team n had same production, who would you honestly give up a 1st for?

I think Randle at his age and with his strengths and experience is worth a 1st round pick. Certainly a later one.

In theory i agree with you, but league knows magic plan n it doesnt involve matching offers for randle, so why waste an asset when you can just make a solid fa offer? I mean its not any different than what magic/rob approach towards pg13 acquisition....but i guess when you say late 1st its probably trading with a contending team that's caped out , so we'll have to see

Our front office has so many incredible options right now. They are the envy of everyone. Lots of young assets and plenty of cap space. There are about 101 ways to build a team for next year, so it will be interesting to see how they approach this. Some decisions won't be easy, and my guess is at least one player we don't want to see go will be pried from our hands. And it may not be among the 3 listed.

Well he's definetely right .... Randle may get you a late 1st rounder and that's it .

The only goal is to clear space or to trade them for a max player ( won't happen) .

Every team knows the Lakers plan so we are in a position of weakness in trade negotiations.

And yes , until proven otherwise , Magic and Rob are among the dumbest for telling everybody their plan ... and decreasing DAR value , and Julius one too...

Rob I still remember how you guaranteed that watching this team would be fun. So far, it's been a mixed bag my dude... Hopefully you can help turn that around for all of us sooner rather than later.

Maybe it would be fun if these pansies didn't miss games everytime they have a hang nail.

Rob gets PG in PG and he has my support. Period. That's the mark for me with the new regime.
