    it has its own set of problems (some players are more popular with others). i like the coaches or gms vote, personally, with the condition that you can't vote for your own guy.

    Jabbar could have more MVPs if the players were voting then. KAJ gets screwed all the time because he was too good. NCAA outlawed the dunk when he was in college. When his peers voted for him as MVP the sixth time, the NBA took that right away from the players, Kareem could have won two or three more I would think with his dominance then.

    About time. The media should have no say in it. I think the voting should consists of players, coaches, and gms.
