LOL Guys. Yeah I was going to come in and say Lock this sum b**** after these past 2 games Dallas and New Orleans.
This is a close group as noted by the newcomers Thomas and Frye... As @ElginTheGreat stated, they are probably adjusting to the loss of that camaraderie. Trade was necessary. It's a bidniz.
Lavar criticizes the Lakers and we band together to turn it all around. Then LT comes in with his playoff optimism and we're once again a strinking mess. Maybe Lavar needs to keep talking... And you LT, not so much.
Better than the thread last yr stating we'd have the deepest n best big man rotation with the likes of mozgov/black/zubac lol
Noticing that some original "abstentionists" now voting NO after more losses. The time to vote was when the thread was posted .... not sit on the fence and wait some more games. Not big ballers.
...injuries, that December swoon, the recent trade, horrible free throw shooting. Like the optimism however. I'm just hoping for a strong finish.
The playoff push is slowing disappearing.... We are so close, yet so far... The Clippers and Jazz continue to win.... Do either team have a rough stretch coming soon?
Hey I voted no day one. I apparently underestimated how much losing Hood and Johnson would mean to Utah though, and how good Mitchell is. I almost called the Davis injury though, and Randle was the one to almost take him out. I appear to have been generous though, instead of climbing to 9th we are plummeting. Apparently Nance and JC took all our knowledge of basic defense and team chemistry with them. Now I remain concerned again about how good a pick Boston is going to get, blech.
Without having seen how the effects for deadline trade played out this thread and it's question were premature. Before the trades I would have been about 50/50 maybe even leaning toward us making the #8 but after the trades absolutely not. I'm not against the trades for now, lets hope the FO know what the are doing but in no way is the team improved after the trades as far as winning games this season. No need to run through why, I doubt many would disagree. I realize the trade was financial and about the summer's cap but even so, usually when a team shakes things up they are great, at least initially. No such luck for us even though our new guys are excited to be in LA. It doesn't spell good for our chances.
We'll see how things go the rest of the month but I think we'll sit in our current 11th spot. All the movement for the conference will happen for 3-9 which are separated by like 3 games. And the bottom 4 teams when they start tanking. We are a middle of the pack team.
Isn't hindsight great? Until these last 3 games it was 15 saying yes maybe possible we have a shot vs 14 no too big of a hole to climb out of. So now one person has changed their vote and 5 that wouldn't vote originally chose to wait and see some more games first.
