I voted for Johnson by mail a few weeks ago, but felt like I wanted Hillary to win. But as the day went on, I realized that wasn't the case and I couldn't help but pull for Trump.

I'm obviously still concerned, but I'm hopeful. Let's see how these victory/concession speeches play out. After the Republican primary, Trump was actually very classy and did a relatively decent job of uniting the party. I hope he can do the same.

It's insane watching CNN and hearing how rational they are while eating crow. A far cry from where they've been the past few months. I really like what Van Jones said. The country needs to stop being naive and come together. On the left, there are some who genuinely have a perception that they will be he targets of bigotry. That can't happen and Trump needs to make this clear and stop all the vague racist BS. On the right, there are many who feel that they're issues are continuing to be marginalized and they're being simplistically labeled as racists for supporting Trump. That also can't happen.

But the main thing is, the democratic establishment absolutely needs to get their crap together.

I find it funny that many trump supporters voted for Trump to "drain the swamp", but who just gave one party, who has been in control of government (except for the presidency), for the last six years, the keys to the government.

Yea I will say this as someone who did vote for Hillary Clinton, she was a horrible candidate.

Donald Trump literally did everything wrong and he still won:

    - Zero ground game
    - Zero outreach to minorities
    - Zero financies
    - Zero establishment support
    - Media against him

Hillary has all but lost, so she pouts, doesn't concede, doesn't speak and goes home. I'd expect nothing less, incredibly poor loser and confirming what we know about her, no class. Had Trump done the same thing, he'd be getting killed for it.

I normally try to stay away from political discussions. Everyone has opinions, are passionate about them and everyone else's is wrong.

But, I feel like this was choosing the lesser of two evils but not sure exactly who that was. Hillary is mared by her scandals and corruptions. Trump gives me no hope for the future of this country, especially with its foreign issues.

I am though curious about a Trump presidency, was he just playing the role the media painted for him and will continue so or will he at least be more sensible. Hillary has been in politics her entire life and she couldn't even beat this guy. I'm mostly fearful of the Republicans holding the house and the senate, and Trump has to fill empty seats of the Supreme Court.

I have no idea where I'm going with this... but I think we'll end up alright in the end. We might have to ride through hell, lose a tire and have to walk the rest of the way but we'll figure it out; America usually does.

And it's being reported that Hillary did just call trump and concede the presidency. So that appears to be that, wow.

That's gonna be so so funny, you guise... The comic value alone should skyrocket several careers (much like it probably did with G.W).

On a more serious note... can't believe you guys selected that clown.

I have to excuse my language guys and apologize to those who might be offended..

but America is a **** joke with the least educated people around the planet from all developed countries. Thats all.

This is the end of liberality as a staple, as a value of the western civilization.

Not saying Clinton was anything to write home about. This was hobson's choice and there was nobody worth the presidency.

I think people who struggles are looking for alternatives ( even the bad ones) without thinking unfortunately twice and about the consequences ... instead of voting for the obvious/regular politics who have done little to none through many years ...

    It's understandable ...

^yes it was. It was stupid but it wasn't as stupid.

Compared to this...it was a much smarter decision. Brexit was the decision to keep supremacy for the UK, it wasn't about a person, they did not want to be part of a union. It was about the choice to do what feels best for them.

This though...choosing an idiot to become the PRESIDENT? its on a whole 'nother level.
