Rubio looked good tonight IMO, but the trio of him, Trump, and Cruz is such a cluster **** that they might actually all take each other down. But damn that was some entertaining television.

I thought Rubio won tonight too.

Trump just says the same stuff over and over. No substance.

Need 2 or 3 to drop out so Rubio can overtake Trump (or have a chance).

Well I don't expect Carson to drop out any time soon. At this point I'm pretty sure he's Donald's target running mate. He's gonna go all the way to the end just to take votes from the other candidates, and he's someone that Trump can keep pointing to and saying, "Cruz stole his votes. Rubio's establishment is trying to silence him because he's not a politician."

I think Cruz needs to drop out. He's like me; elements of good arguments but he rambles on and I naturally just lose interest in what he's saying. Maybe it's just the way the camera was, but he also looked scared and weak next to Trump while Rubio looked way more confident.

As a Sanders supporter, Kasich actually worries me though. This whole campaign cycle has been so insane, that maybe when the dust settles we just go for the most moderate, mellow candidate.

In other news though, I guess it's never too early to start campaigning.

Rubio was playing Trump's game of mockery, overspeaking, and name calling and the Don got flustered.

At this point, these aren't even really debates anymore, rather it's WWE in suits. There's barely any debate, it's really more, who can get the loudest cheers.

I listened to parts of the debate, but I really like reading the transcript and good lord there is so little of value coming out of Trump's mouth. He has vague plans that he titters off about, but mostly he ends up just attacking people or relying on the polls. His only really strong stance is on immigration. Everything else he talked about was watery at best. Rubio and Cruz completely picked him apart. I don't even want to think about what Clinton will look like on a stage with him, she's every bit as clever as both those guys and twice as nasty.

I like a lot of what Kasich has to say which I didn't expect because I honestly haven't paid much attention to him. I'm not sure why he has so little support in all this. Some of what he says is typical political jargon that circles around, but he's not as bad as even Cruz in that regard.

Poor Ben Carson. Someone tell this guy to stop. I like him and I like what he's got to say a lot of the time, but he doesn't belong up there. CNN did him a great disservice yesterday by asking him less than 5 questions while Trump, Cruz, and Rubio yelled at each other. The transcript was so sad to see Carson completely and utterly disrespected. Worse than any of the other candidates that had insults thrown at them all night, Carson was rendered irrelevant. In fact he wasn't even given a chance to defend himself after his name was brought up. Completely unacceptable.

If I had to pick someone on that stage it's either Rubio or Kasich. This was easily the worst Trump has looked and underlined his inability to come up with actual plans and instead relied on attacks. He's a less clever version of Hillary Clinton when it comes to people calling him out. Hillary is every bit the bully and liar that Trump is, but she's infinitely nastier and more clever than Trump.

What stuck out to me is that Cruz is running as a Constitutionist basically and is running on an immovable base. I think that's a mistake. The American people don't want more parity, they want a person in office who will get things done. Partisanship is hurting more than helping. Kasich and Rubio seem far more reasonable and far more able to bend but not break.

Trump seems completely void of any political responsibilities which is true and should be what he doubles down on. Yes he's skated between political lines, but that's because he's multi-billionaire and he needed to do it. Does it make him seem weak on issues? Maybe, but this is an opportunity for him to present a clean slate. As politicians these guys have all been caught lying or changing their position at some point or another. So instead of doubling down on whatever they're saying, roll with the punch and present a strong stance now. Instead he's letting them get their shots in and firing back with childish insults instead of substance. If they said "Mr. Trump you hired illegal immigrant Polish people to build your tower!" he should reply with, "I did. It was a mistake, but such and such labor union forced labor rates to increase and I had to do it this way. As President, I'd do ____ about this." It's not the strongest arguing position, but it's better than looking like a fool and I think the American people would appreciate the transparency. His whole campaign was supposed to run like that, but now he's just an idiot bully hurling insults.

Now is the time the Republican party is going to start burning him to the ground in debates though. Rubio and Cruz are going to just destroy this guy. Who knows what happens after that though. The good news is that whoever comes out of the party (if it's not Trump) will have gotten past Trump which is a great warm-up for getting past Clinton.

Best line of the debate was when Carson said "Can someone please attack me?", so he could have a chance to talk :D

There was a sadder moment later where he says "I was mentioned in that argument" but was completely ignored not just by the debaters, but Wolf too.

Carson should've just walked off stage, mid debate. They gave him no time. It was really sad.

Trump, today, splashed water around the stage and yelled, "it's Rubio!" Rubio is my guy, but damn, that's funny. Trump constantly mocks him sweating so much. So un-Presidental (but funny). Rubio made him look bad last night. Asked for his plan, with specifics, to replace ObamaCare. Trump had nothing.

Friends, people are going to vote for this guy!!!! A lot of people. Probably enough to get him elected.

Sorry Weezy, but I think I'm more scared than you.

    Trump making fun of Rubio.

    Cruz proving Trump lied.

Sadly, Trump fans will ignore this and vote for him anyway.

    Sad, but true.

I believe that if you don't vote, you can't complain. If it comes down to Hillary and Trump, I'm not voting. But I'll complain. Non-stop.

How is this happening though? Like is he winning the republican side because people just know his name? Like oh yeah, Donald Trump, I know that guy, "you're fired" right? Yeah, he has funny hair and a lot of money and was made fun of on SNL a lot, yeah, that's cool, I want him as president. How is this happening? I feel like any celebrity could be president now if they wanted to in today's world, stupid people know you're name, you're famous, they've seen you on the Internet or tv or movies, you can be president. Mexicans and Muslims are bad! You got my vote! What the hell is going on. Sorta the same with Hilary, "Clinton, I know that name, they make fun of her on SNL!". I thought NoFX song lyrics were on point when George W was president, now they seem prophetic.

This isn't meant to be offensive, though they try to be, they're very anti-religion, and it's NSFW, I just think a lot of the lyrics on the politics are appropriate

Ok, so apparently the two best people in this nation to be entrusted with the Oval Office are Hillary and the Donald.
