I’ve done gun training (military, security type work - nothing glamorous).

I’ve shot AK47s, M-whatevers and such and all kinds of pistols. I even had a gun drawing (is that what it’s called?) training.

I would run if there was a maniac with automatic assault rifle in a building with me.

 

I don't believe teachers need to be armed.

These mass shooters are cowards. Mentally disturbed cowards, but still cowards nonetheless. That's why they try to target a school full of children instead of targeting a police station.

Just assign one K9 campus police officer and one bomb sniffing dog. These dogs are typically used to sniff out IED's in warzones, but can also smell gunpowder in bullets if properly trained. They can check lockers, backpacks, etc. The police officer has to provide a distraction for the shooter until the rest of the police force shows up. The Parkland school officer, unfortunately neglected his duties.

 

Classic.

 

How about the armed deputy that showed up and then didn't go inside to confront the shooter and has now resigned in disgrace and his name is out there?

Then again any firefight I have ever been in .... in any dream about being in a war .... I never put my head up. Part of the problem is ... honest ... I never can find where the ammo is. Am always like where the hell is any ammo I don't have any. Still if I had any I would not put my head up.

Then there's the bullets if I ever find one or two and actually shoot .... that come out like lob shots. Zero velocity.

Okay, i guess this started It. if cosmo is short for cosmopolitan which words cannot be understood?

He was not my first choice. I could not see a scenario in which i vote for him in 2016. The reason we got him because the left became arrogant and illiberal. His main selling point is not bowing down to the cosmo bumpkin elite.

I just expressed my dislike of the anthems in general. I believe the US has unique characteristics that make it less necessary to have one.

 

Yeah, not sure what happened with that deputy... wonder what was going through his mind, but I’m sure the gunfire, hundreds of kids and teachers running and screaming, fear of shooting the wrong kid, accidentally injuring a kid or teacher while engaging, getting killed him self had something to do with it.

 

No doubt. But from the top cop looking at the footage of him staying outside maybe what Zen said above was the key reason.

That is without even mentioning the bright idea he had. Putting some sort of rating on movies, as these clearly influence the youth to be more violent.

 

The man skipped the draft for crying out loud, and he's going to run in unarmed vs a man with an AR?

Trump flinched at someone charging his podium during one of his rallies. Highly doubt this man has ANY balls to do anything himself except tweet about it.
