The newest idiocy from the moron in chief:

A call transcript between President Trump and Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte reveals that Trump boasted about two U.S. nuclear submarines near North Korea.

Trump, who spoke by phone with Duterte on April 29, addressed the possibility of a strike on North Korea using the submarines. A transcript of the conversation was published by The Intercept.

“We have a lot of firepower over there,” Trump said in the transcript, an official document of the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs.

“We have two submarines — the best in the world — we have two nuclear submarines — not that we want to use them at all,” Trump continues. “I’ve never seen anything like they are but we don’t have to use this but he could be crazy so we will see what happens.”

    http://thehill.com/policy/defense/334969-trump-revealed-submarine-locations-to-philippines-president

I don't know if I even need to say the significance of how stupid this is, but it's revealing the location to our enemies, namely North Korea.

I wonder if KFC or Coca Cola could talk to Trump and trade secret recipes?

I won't post the picture here, but Kathy Griffen posted a picture of Trump's head cut off and blood streaming down his face.

Imagine the outcry, protests, and what would happen to her career if she (or anyone else) did that to Obama.

When they go low, we go high. or not.

I don't know where to post this, so this is as good a place as any.

These students don't want to turn in assignments because they're too tired from........... protesting.

What type of protesting? Demanding segregation from white people.

Can someone explain to me why Trump backed out of the Paris Climate Agreement?

Was it wrong that we were trying to reduce emissions for our country and planet as a whole?

We decided to stand by Syria and Nicaragua as the only nations not a part of the accord.

It's amazing how the s*** Trump is doing doesn't even have a chance to build outrage, because he's going to do something else just as stupid the next day.

FWIW, the Dow just set another record, due in large part to the US leaving Paris accord.

That's nice. Everyone who's got loads of capital to throw at stock (the 1%) just got richer.

Meanwhile, it does nothing for everyone else.

    Exactly.

The stock market is up with Trump. He's their guy. Awesome for the 1%.

This means nothing for most citizens.

The same could be said for climate change.

I mean, if people want to give up on science, might as well stop taking medicine and going to doctor's as a whole, too.

Already halfway there killing themselves by trying not vaccinating their children. That's proof of evolution right there.

I think most people care about climate change if for no other reason than wanting to leave a better earth for the future.

I disagree, but I have never taken a poll. But based on peoples actions, I just don't think so. How many carpool? Ride mass transit? Are willing to pay more for gas to avoid fracking? Ride bikes to and from work? Have solar panels on their roofs?

People, IMO, care more about themselves and their bank accounts than anything having to do with the climate. Maybe I'm wrong. But I just don't see it.

That's because that technology is too expensive currently.

Without research or advancements in those areas, how do we expect to get the costs of those options down if we aren't putting any effort to it?

Are we supposed to be living on coal our entire existence? Were lights meant to remain as filaments instead of LED's?
