One party will riot when they don't get their way. The other party will be asleep in preparation for work tomorrow.

I didn't end up voting for either (doesn't matter since I live in CA), but the media meltdown if Trump wins would be so fun to watch. But people could also die since the left WILL riot and people will get hurt.

There's part of me that can't wait to see the meltdown when it happens.

Like a NASCAR crash, or a big KO in Combat Sports.

And it appears to be on course to happen. Time for the Democrats to change strategy. They literally won ZERO of the Southern States after manipulatively campaigning for the black vote. People are seeing right through their methods it appears.

The fallout should be interesting for sure. Trump appears to be winning all of the toss up states of senile Joe. If they had a better option, they'd have likely won since Trump can be such an arse.

This is NY times, so I don't consider it biased since they are liberal. We'll see how it shakes out.

Mich, Penn, Georgia, and NC looks to be going to Trump.

Nevada, Arizona, Wisconsin all technically still in play.

I have to admit I was never as interested in the result of elections in another country as I am in this case. It seems most US members are pro-Trump? I don't visit these political threads almost ever and am a little surprised to see that. Should be an interesting finish.

I think most people feel he's an arse despite some solid financial policies, but the opposition has yet to put forward a better option.

    Hillary? No.

    Biden? No.

if Biden get elected, they've already proactively moved to get Kamala Harris into the presidency. He's literally not ok and should not be running. Who wants to elect a puppet?

Thanks for the reply. I guess the choice of the puppet depends on who is the puppet master. Obama was a fine President IMHO, for example, Michelle would probably also be a good one as far as I can judge from afar and both come from the same "source" as Biden...

Who is running things in your opinion? I have heard the opinion before that Biden is a puppet, but why exactly? Is he too old/ becoming senile or some such?

If Biden is “not ok”, then Trump is literally insane. The moron can’t shut up or be leashed for 5 mins by his handlers, he comes out before the election results are even close to being done and gives away his plan too early. Clearly in the case he loses his strategy was always to claim fraud, which is ridiculous, and he thought that’s what happened wayyyyyy too early so he came out and blew that one, read the script 10 pages ahead of where he should have, he’s a truly terrible actor. I honestly don’t understand how he still has as much support as he does, he’s got the mind of a child and the temperament of a spoiled one, he’s clearly a moron in the most literal sense is mostly told what to say on the key issues yet cannot stay on topic or stop repeating phrases he loves or talk about how great he is for more than 10 seconds. To come out and claim voter fraud and try to whip up his cult like base, it’s pathetic, any other president doing that, exhibiting such behavior, would be skewered for it. I can’t imagine 4 more years of this lunatic, all I know is if he loses he better just concede, this isn’t a dictatorship, you don’t get to stay in just because you want. If he wins he wins, oh well, it won’t be voter fraud, absolutely ridiculous allegation by a clown of a human being.

I wanted to be respectful on these topics as a non-American, but I have to admit you have just summed up my perception of Trump perfectly :). There still is hope...

He gets support because the alternative is so horrible. As well as their policies.

And Obama practically destroyed the country financially. Being a good speaker does not equal being a good president. Not even close. IMHO, history will eventually show his presidency to be a disaster the US never recovers from.

America truly deserves whoever they vote for. I actually think Biden wins right now, but if you see some of his incoherent ramblings in interviews, it’s clear he’s unfit to lead the country.

our choices are embarrassing, and so is our current process. It’s fascinating how close things are, but make no mistake, once this goes to Democratic control, we are racing to our country’s financial demise. And I believe it’s intentional.

Wow, that's some pessimistic view. I hope you're wrong, the last thing we all need is a financial disaster in the US.

As another non US Citizen, i got to say the fact that Biden has already 2.6 Mil more people who voted for him and might still lose, only confirms my opinion that the voting system in the US needs an overhaul.

Been staying away from this forum for a while, but was interested to check it out today and wanted to respond to your comment to clarify the situation.

This political forum is not representative of America’s political leanings in general, nor the political leanings of the Laker fanbase.

This place is an echo chamber of a handful of Trump supporters, who have varying degrees of bias, reasonableness, and levels of hypocrisy. Usually 432J being the only one who provides the opposing view (God bless him for hanging in there).

Praying the Trump supporters here and their ilk don’t cause the mayhem they pre-emptively accused the Democrats of doing, now that Biden is looking in better shape. We’ve known for a while based on the rules of various states that mail-in votes that would skew in Biden’s favor (because we’re in a pandemic that one side takes more seriously than the other) would start getting counted later, and take longer to do so.

Trump may very well still win (and the fact that it is even close is an indictment against Biden). If he wins, he wins. If he loses, the cult is going to eat up his baseless allegations of fraud and I’m worried about what they do in the coming weeks.

Cue “Go BaCk tO yOuR lIbeRaL mEdIa AnD cNn, YoU bRaInWaShEd LiB” as everyone pats each other on the back for sharing some tweet or video from some “independent” source who just happens to echo Trump and Fox News talking points.

    so negative.....

    :ADnaughty:

I didn't vote this time, and honestly haven't voted in quite some time. Need worthy candidates to give a crap. Kanye being on any ballot is an indication of the times we are living in. It's all a farce and so disappointing to watch.

Whoever doesn't win, I hope they can keep it in their shorts and take their medicine like a man. The last thing we need are white supremacist militias thinking Trump wants them to act out and start Civil War, or for Democrats to ratchet up their antics another couple notches. Just make the best of what we've got whoever it is.

it's a pretty shameful time to be an American purely from a political standpoint. I'll find a way to succeed regardless of what idiot gets elected.

I've begun my search for citizenship outside the US, and it's not limited to the country I currently reside in outside of the US. I'd rather watch Rome burning from afar and not be subject to it's ridiculous financial policies that will be coming down the pipe. I declare myself country independent lol. Unfortunately, it doesn't really work that way if you ever want to travel. And have bank accounts.

this country is screwed either way

biden might win but it looks like the GOP will hold the senate, which would pretty much keep a biden administration from accomplishing anything notable for the first two years at least. much like the last two years of obama's second term.

a few things i've learned from this election: one is that the dems need to stop assuming they have the hispanic vote in the bag. the cuban-americans in FL basically won the state for trump and he somehow managed to perform better among hispanics in TX as well. they also need to grouping hispanics together. the hispanics in FL are not the same as the ones in TX, the ones in TX are not the same as the ones in AZ, etc.

and there's something about trump which causes the big polling errors we've seen in '16 and now in '20. maybe the "shy trump voter" thing is true. maybe republicans just lie to the pollsters for the lols. or maybe the polls just can't take into a consideration a candidate with a massive cult of personality around him
