Just to way in from across the pond, In n Out > Five Guys, I've never tried an American Five Guys so I don't know how different it is, but they have expanded to the UK and I would pick In N Out every time.

Massive fan of savoury snack food though, this pretty much sums me up:

In-n-out is not junk food. The meat is cut from the loins of a unicorn and the vegetables are grown in the Garden of Eden. Their milkshakes flow from the rivers of Valhalla.

Love the idea for this thread. I miss the random stuff like this that would always be active in the CL Open Court.

That's a good point I never thought about. I don't get the lethargy/sickness I get with other fast food when I eat In-N-Out.

I think I misinterpreted the original post because of the photo of junk food ha ha. If we're talking good food I've got a lot to say about that as well, and I also enjoy cooking some stuff myself.

If you live in Texas, you know SaltGrass steak house. IMO, the best steak I've ever had under $20.

That looks fantastic and the asparagus is cooked just the way I like it, a little charred.

    That's a 20 dollar steak? Hot damn.

In California a 20 dollar steak has some mold growing on it or came out of a Taco Bell mystery bin.

Lol, everything fro Hot Pockets to Anthony Bourdain. I've got something to make up for last night's chips and soda.

John, Saltgrass is good. I like TLAC too.

    I

could have sworn I posted what I actually ate last night for dinner (side tangent; does anyone says supper?) Japanese, American, German and Jamaican(?) I consider myself a worldly fat kid. And before anyone says anything, I do not own chopsticks but I use them when I go out to eat.

I love "Jack in the Crack." They have everything. Burgers, tacos, egg rolls... something for everyone. My fave is the deep fried taco with wilted lettuce dripping with grease.

I liked their chicken sandwich...the long one. Been awhile since.

Baja Fresh. The Dos Manos Burrito. Chicken or Chicken/Beef combo all rice no beans. Couldn't down it in one sitting. Grab loads of their Baja Salsa sauce and do not bother me or risk injury... :)

Dennys...used to have The Dagwood on their menu. Big Sourdough bread with crammed with eggs, cheese, ham. Sigh.

    Great thread...'mash.
