BTW - the Nuggets did NOT have KCP in the last 2 games versus us, and they still won.

So all this talk about them not being deep or whatever...toss that out. They got enough production from others to make up for it. And there's a couple of former laker killers sitting on their bench that will likely randomly go off (Reggie Jackson). Not to mention a few guy slike Watson, Braun and Holiday that will get their opportunities.

If we can punch them in the mouth in game 1, or eek out a win in game 2, we have a chance.
If AD’s back gives him problems, we’re cooked.
All three of Austin, Rui, and DLo have to be great in every game.
Dinwiddie and Gabe have to figure out how to knock Murray off his game.
Hambone has to make good in game adjustments and not run any three guard lineups.
With the firepower our team has, we have a chance, but we need a lot of guys to show out big for each game.

Feel it’s the same as last year, if DLo can perform we have a chance to win the series.

My gawd "demoralizing" is right. How many of those did he have in the WCF last year? Five? I saw him beat GSW this year with a game-winning gawky pug-fugly shot that went in from 43 feet at the buzzer. We're not the only team he crushes like that.

I guess Vincent could be one of the most pivotal players for us, because he might be the only one with a few possibilities to defende on Murray with efficiency and continuity. I'm scared of Jokic, no doubt.. But Murray has always been a finger in the a** for us.

Jokic failed to score more than 25pts 3 times out of 7 against us since Game 1 of last season

Jokic only scored 30 pts or more 3 times out of 7 against us since Game 1 of last season

He never scored more than 35 .

    Lakers are 0-7 .

It's crystal clear you have to stop doubling him and try something else

like i said, let him do this thing. he's unstoppable either way, so why double him and leave someone like murray or MPJ open when they don't miss?

    Getting more and more obnoxious

The level of talent in the Western Conference. Kevin Durant, Bradley bill and Devin Booker in sixth place!

Everything has changed. From the team that wanted to get the title, we became those who want to keep it. We are selfish, we will not let anyone take it from us », – said the head coach « Nuggets ».

People often talk about the job Dwight did on Jokic in the bubble, but what goes unmentioned is the job Rondo/Caruso/KCP/Green did on Murray as well. We wore him down by committee. We’re in a little bit better position to do the similar thing with AR/Dinwiddie/Gabe.

If I’m totally honest I consider a 6 game series with Denver a moral victory. We are not at full strength without Vando. Two wins would be progress and I could live with that. A sweep or gentleman’s sweep I consider a failure. Obviously I want us to win but it’s a big challenge and I’ll take what we can get. If we force a game 7 it would be epic.

I'm surprised at how many here feel we don't have a chance against Denver because of the sweep and their current streak over us. On paper 8 straight loses to them seems like straight domination....... HOWEVER.....

People fail to recall what actually happened in those 4 games in the playoffs. These games weren't blowouts at all. They were competitive with Denver executing better down the stretch with both Joker and Murray hitting clutch (and sometimes impossible) shots. We relied on Lebron ISO and last second 3 pnt shooting with ZERO penetration to close out the games. The difference was night and day. They executed and we didn't which means the final few minutes they pulled away. The crazy part is that has been how our games with them have gone these past 8 (imo) where we fail to execute and they do.

So why would this be different? It's easy. We have a better team now and we attack the paint with 3's coming off the attack as well as off the dribble/pass. DLO and Austin are critical to this as we need their offense (along with Bron and AD) to put pressure on Denver to defend.

Denver has shown they know how to execute down the stretch and Joker is the ultimate "bail them out" type shooter. I mean, does he ever miss those last second heaves? He is going to get his but AD needs to get his as well. We need to attack the paint and, yes, hit shots. We have every ability to beat this team just like we did (ability that is) last year in the playoffs and in every game we played since.

So, no purple and gold colored glasses, I believe we knock them out this year. That being said, I have no doubt they can beat us in this series. Both things can be true. What's not true? We don't have a chance and should of avoided them. F that.

It's time to cook. Lakers in 6 for me.
