Not unexpected. Most of us knew this might and would happen.

What stings is being up 20 and coughing up that lead and losing Game 2 the way we did. We needed 1 in Denver just 1, and they couldn't do that.

Yeah. We lost the series and unfortunately our shot at avoiding an embarrassing second sweep in game two.

I'm not even mad at this point. I just have one request for the Summer - get a real NBA coach on the team.

I was really hoping DLO would turn things around, he can be so fun to root for. This game did it for me. Once he uses his option, ship him out.

Well, at least we got this over with early. Dlo didn’t fool us with a long decent run, Ham doesn't have the excuse of another long playoff run, we found out early on this core is done winning chips.

Time to see the bright side, Ham probably gets canned if LeBron stays. He may use it as leverage before exercising his option.

On another hand, LeBron has actually a big call to make. He knows it's very hard that he can compete for a title with us. It depends on what he's looking for right now. Will dig further on this in his thread

As we can see, this is just not going well for the Lakers. I knew we'd lose against the Nuggets, but I believed we can win at least one game this year. I don't believe that anymore and think we'll get swept again. Denver playing behind early is not a bug -- it's a feature. They know they have another gear for the second half and they are waiting for our guys to get gassed. Plus, they have nothing to fear from our bench or the role-playing trio of AR/Dlo and Rui. It is what it is. It's time to start thinking about rebuild. It might be a year early, but it's better to be ready because it needs to happen.

    Reality from statmuse

The Lakers have lost 11 straight games against the Nuggets. LA had a double-digit lead in 6 of those games, including all 3 this playoffs.

Why? So we can get swept by Denver again? Sooner or later, you'll have to go through them and we don't have what it takes.
