What logic is that. Like the roster and the entire organizations, FO and everything else are identical? You could have said the same thing about KD (though who would and really should not be said about RW as well)

This is a hard one because Klay Thompson is the best fit IMO but he's not available next summer. So I don't really get his inclusion in the poll. In a vacuum I'd take Klay. He's not as good as Lebronze or Westbrook but he fits way better and would be kind of perfect playing alongside PG and Lonzo. That's a dream come true if it could happen. You get shooting and defense at a position of need. And in his prime too.

Of the guys available in 2018 I think you just go after one and then the other. I'd start with Lebron because of star power and fit. I'd go after Westbrook next although I think it's a harder sell and tougher fit. Then whoever else in the next tier.

One quick response about his FA date was a year early and I hadn't gotten the date myself so added him prematurely and don't know how to get him off now. Someone kindly corrected his name from Play Thompson to Klay Thompson for me though (thanks spell check) so maybe is it possible to take Klay off now?

I'd have to hold my nose, but I'd take Lebron. He and Lonzo making the extra pass and spreading the ball around the horn is too much to pass up. He could be an excellent small ball 4 in his mid 30's. We'd have 4 guys in the lineup that could grab the defensive rebound and initiate offense.

    Ball
    Ingram
    George
    LBJ
    Lopez

    Good luck stopping that lineup.

Kinda can't say no to LeBron if you can bring him in. The revenue he'd probably bring in on a team with Ball, PG potentially is reason enough.

He really has to work on his post game though. He is still too heavily reliant on his God given abilities.

I would definitely be worried about the miles too. Insane how he really has not had any major injuries.

I chose C and would think Klay would be the perfect fit for what we are trying to do on offense. I know many fans like Russell but think of the type of offense we want to run with the ball moving and then think about how Russell fits into all this. As great as Russell is, the MVP this year IMO, he needs the ball in his hands and before you say that Ball can play the 2 I just don't see a great fit for his style of play with our group.

The perfect FA for us to get are shooters and players who can move without the ball and still be effective on either end of the court. I don't want Lebron either but I think he would fit our team better than Westbrook.

As much as I like Klay and I know other NBA teams are hopeful that maybe he'll want to leave GS and try to go somewhere else Woj on his Podcast last week said everyone he has talked to who is close to Klay has said he absolutely loves it at GSW and his role and wants to stay there.

Lots of things can change and he's still the perfect fit for our team on offense and what he brings on defense, but just thought I would throw that out there what I heard on Woj's Podcast (The Vertical).

Just read that Westbrook is eligible for a 5 year/220 million dollar extension.

    That's nearly 45 million a year.

We can cross him off the list. He's not coming. No way he passes that up IMO.

Those contract extension eligibilities are ridiculous lol. Handicaps the rest of your team some, dont know what the logic was behind that from cap purposes.

Rock in a hard place i guess cause you wanna keep your stars even if it means overpaying.

Lebron won't even be 34 at the start of the 18-19 season . It will be his 16th season , his last great one imo .

Hell no to Westbrook , he's not great and clever enough to lead a team to a title ( only KD, Curry , James and Leonard currently can as number 1 options , KAT and A.D might be on their way)

I guess PG- Lebron is the best option and you count on a Warriors mental fatigue ...

Not great? Dude averaged a triple double. That hasn't been done in like 50 years.

I highly doubt Westbrook declines that extension coming his way, but dude is one of the best players in the NBA.

He took a terrible OKC team to a sixth seed in the West with pretty much no shooters on the roster or other shot creators.

    He's an amazing talent.

Sure but his decisions can't be trusted in the clutch against the very best teams in the league .
