    Ok, agree to disagree.

I'll be doing back flips if Westbrook came to LA.

I think so, but again it's sort of hard to say that if Kobe or Russell are actually looking at you saying "can I play?" :D

It's easy to say they don't want Kobe when Kobe is retired making commercials with puppets. Looking at the FA class next summer though I genuinely don't see anyone who fits what they're talking about besides LeBron and George.

    Exactly.

The Ball supporters would end up regretting a Westbrook acquisition. It's the same reason I don't want Cousins. Their both "ball-stoppers".

True, but at the same time a lineup with Westbrook and George is at least in the Top 4 of the West. Too much relentlessness on the floor. I won't complain as long as we're in that playoff picture and we've got a couple young guys left on the squad.

    Ball/Westbrook/Ingram/PG13/Zu

    Sounds promising to me..

Then George would get fed-up with Westbrook the same way KD did...

While in theory Westbrook would be a "ball stopper" I think Luke could get him to buy into the offense, especially if he has a full season to watch our "Ball" movement. We just have to be able to pitch to him how easy his looks would be if he's just moving and cutting and getting the ball in motion towards the basket. The bigger issue I see with Westbrook is who plays where? Ingram and George can play together on the wings, but unless Ingram goes on the Lebron diet, he can't play pf. And good luck selling PG-13 on being a pf. Bird tried to do that and it probably started PG-13's journey out of Indy. And Ingram isn't a 6th man. He's going to be too good for that. I have no problem pushing Randle to the bench for Lebron, but Ingram is pretty important to our starting lineup because of his length.

Could definitely be. That's why you'd need an incredibly strong infrastructure to make sure Westbrook stays on board.

Ultimately, I think it doesn't matter because Westbrook stays in OKC.

Ball, Westbrook, George and Ingram. Jesus. Length and three, 2-way players? That team would give GSW fits. GSW would have to earn their points. I do not want Lebron. I dont care what he has done. He is a b****. Kobe may have been a jerk but at least he came to the arena wanting to eat your heart every single night. Lebron wants to be everyone's friend and be a b****.

I didn't realize we were supposed to limit this to only guys available next year.

Yah, Westbrook finally got the team he wanted and he will sign the mega extension there. He hates the media, which i get, but pressure in LA would bother him even more. Plus he can get away with wearing those kitchen aprons cut into as a dress shirt in OKC, where as if he wore that as a Laker, he would get crap for it.

It's what the 2018 cap space is rumored all about. PG and one other star player. Putting Klay on was from bad intel and not looking it up myself first. [IMG] Hoping to find another great option to LeCarpetBagger. So we can pass that on to Magic and convince him to keep that ***** off of the Lakers.

Yah Klay is ideal but he's 2019. He's a better fit then LBJ due to age, shooting, and experience in uptempo spread offense

If 2018 then it is LBJ since Westbrook needs to control the ball. Honestly Russ had his chance in 2017 but re-upped with OKC

Yeah. I mean when you really get down to the crux of the matter, that's the bottom line. We'll get a title at some point again with this mega recruiting position we're going to be in going forward. No question about the recruiting "juice" going forward. But a title with LeBron up there ordained as the "leader" of the Lakers and the media fawning all over him for having come to Los Angeles and saving the franchise ..... would be:

I'm sure they're watching Indiana. They're going for another title, so I doubt they wanna trade him at the deadline, but I don't see him taking less to stay. Still young. Time to get more rings while getting max contracts. I think he'll be moved near the draft next year.

And call me a spoiled Laker fan, but I can see him coming here. He loves the single ladies and his pops is here.

Give me Russell!!! Closest thing to Kobe we have seen. If he could play with KD, he will fit right in with every Laker on the roster.

If he could with KD then KD would still be in OKC.
