    good to see they finally changed the jerseys to look as they did when each respective player wore them

    never made any sense to retire shaq/kobe's numbers with the jerseys they only wore for a few years

    Yah, they need to just add it on there. It's a nice jersey up there. They did a great job on the 5 minny banners too.

    They actually updated all the retired jerseys to match the style of jersey that player actually played in. Compare that pic to how it used to be:

    My guess is that back in the day when Mikan was playing, the players names weren’t printed on the jersey yet.

    On that topic… anyone know where I can buy a Pau jersey? I definitely don’t want to just make a custom Gasol #16 jersey using our current style, ideally want the same look as the jerseys that Pau/Kobe used to wear.

    Any chance the Lakers officially re-release some jerseys in that style prior to his retirement?

    The Lethal Shooter gimmick isn't working for AD. Let's see if Pau can come aboard as a consultant and at least get AD's mid range game back to a consistent level.

    The combo of Kobe and Pau having dependable mid range games was just so deadly. Analytics have ruined the undervalued mid J. Sorry, if it worked for Kobe, one of the best offensive weapons to ever lace em up, it should work for EVERY player.
