    We all found out today that Russell was named to the 2nd All-Rookie Team.

    What you might not have heard is we had two OTHER players receive All-Rookie votes.

    Larry Nance Jr. had 3 votes... And...

    People talk s*** about Jim Buss but at the end of the day he wants nothing more then to win, him and jeanie loved there father and they love the lakers deeply. After watching how the dodgers are being run by a corporation and that idiot fraudman I'm actually happy the buss family still owns the team and I hope they never sell.

    I'm in the mood for some optimism this morning. Under the absolute best and most optimistic circumstances, our young players may develop into a roster like this in 3 or so years (using player comparisons)

    Steph-Lillard lite/Lou
    DD/Monta Jennings ish
    Tracy Durant ish/ring chasing vet

    San Antonio was their toughest opponent in that postseason whom they dismissed in four. That crew was one Horry offensive foul [Game 1 of The Finals] away from running the table. Sixers were game but the Lakers were like cats playing with their kill.

    On topic: we have the right people to cultivate a positive culture in. A #2 pick that could have immediate impact, cap room, a product to sell and overhyped neighbors that are declining rapidly right before our naked, steaming eyes...
