If my son dressed like Shareef, I would have probably had him take sewing classes. Looks like something someone wears to sleep not realizing that they are 5 years older than when they wore those clothes the last time.

Lol... Yeah, just not a very smart overall decision IMO but its not that serious.
My guess is Shaq wants him to make his own decisions and probably thinks its a random faze. Think Shareef is going for the im a young promising player and son of Shaq and hes already set for life so hence "IDGAF" look lol.

I think with this signing we have officially improved the team this year.

Have to see if it translates to more wins in this stacked West, but I'm now predicting 30-35 wins

I mean is anywhere between 30 and 40 THAT much of a difference lol. With how the West is now I don't even care... Let's just see if we can have a punchers chance every night with your occasion eggs hopefully off back to backs or something.

Things are working their way up like Fat Joes song... we're not done yet either

I am definitely optimistic. We addded a quality center... Sure, he does not play much D, aside from blocking shots but offensively, he's one of the most polished bigs in the league. Next, a young SG; now, that was just perfect signing for our team. Athletic, elite defender, can shoot while locking down almost any guard or wing in the league. If we can make a splash next season, we can be back on top relatively quickly. In the meantime, look:

Ball, Pope, Ingram, Randle, Lopez... That's an exciting team to watch. Some promising rookies too.

Best part about all this is our pick will hopefully be late teens next year so the C Bags can suck it!

Blazers got the 8th spot last year and went 41-41. My wish? We go 42-40 and take the 8th spot. Learn from the series VS GSW

Last year we had the worst defense in the NBA and still managed 26 wins. I have us plus 20 more wins based on

    1. Having an All Star in Lopez
    2. Breakout year in Ingram (potential all Star numbers) become that leader.
    3. Lonzo Ball culture change, infectious offense.
    4. Defensive players (Ingram, kcp, Hart, Nwaba, Nance, kuzma, Lopez, etc)
    5. Julius Randle jumper improvement.
    6. Magic's pressing players to be in best shape
    7. Still not done..... Maybe rondo signing etc.

I believe we will be a lot funner to watch and can match up with any team offensively and defensively. No more distractions just hard working players with high character. Let's mess up the C Bags chance of getting a high draft pick! Let's take that 8 seed!

If this is for me, Boston only gets our pick if it falls inside 2-5 iirc. outside of that Philly keeps it.

Dont forget Brewer and the fact that we tanked last year. Maybe Clarkson takes a half a step forward. Perhaps Nance? I know everyone has written him off but if Deng shows up in shape maybe he gives us something off the bench. Better than nothing .

I really hope we somehow get rid of deng, best case scenario is trade Deng, Brewer, and jc with an unprotected first round pick for Wade or anybody in the NBA that's expiring next year lol.

Haha. Were pretty much on the same page but thats probably last resort...theres gotta be a better deal by deadline if not next summer. We have no use for Wade unless hes down to come off the bench in the manu role.

Teams improved in the West BUT they also have to play beat the crap out of each other so winning 41-42 games may get you in the playoffs.

The key for a young Laker team is to win the games you're suppose to !
