    5 games below 500.

Being optimistic right now is not really an option. Only losers play for moral victories.

How many of these "we can build off of that" loss have we seen.

No it ain't encouraging when you lose closely or the effort is there. It's encouraging when you win 5 in row. How many of those do we have? Zero.

Good game last night, but true there are no moral victories when you’re fighting to preserve a playin spot at 5 games under .500.

Great win tonight. Lebron balled out with Aron Donald in the house. Reaves with the dagger. Russ sealing the deal with the clutch FTs. Plus that great interception by Monk down the stretch.

AD didn’t shatter his glass ankle, so that’s good.

this is the optimism thread, but i've severely sprained my ankle on a play like that before, and i think i remember my doctor saying a break would have healed faster. you roll one like that, and you could be out 2 months or even require surgery depending on the nature of the ligament damage. let's hope it's not that. i'd like AD to get a healthy offseason in for the first time since he's been here.

He's not coming back any time soon. I have some experience with these injuries and... not looking good. I know it's an optimism thread and I apologize but that's the truth. Let's hope he can heal to 100% and come back strong next season.

the optimism is that this kind of injury generally heals and the player returns at 100%. and yes, that might be in june, and yes, we'll definitely be done playing before that.

Good news? I cut off my cable because the Lakers are basura.

Saving about $120 a month. Stream other sports.

That said, if Russ is back, I might go without it next season, too.

The good: the team played two of their best games of the year against two of the best teams consecutively. Saw continued progress and maintained focus over the course of both games. Something that hasn't happened this season. Previously, we'd have a great game and then lose to the Kings or Rockets or find a way to be on the wrong part of some historical night for a 3rd rate bum.

I really have zero fear of the Jazz. I wish we could luck into a playoff matchup with them. There hasn't been such a phony playoff team out West since MDA's Rockets and Suns. Gobert is the most overrated "top tier" big man who's stolen DPOY awards. We were targeting him in the 4th and before AD got hurt, he was destroying him. It's the one matchup he takes personal and dominates nearly every time out.

had to look that up haha

I was an aggressive leverage trader, lost my rear last year, and more in the HODL mode these days. Following a certain SEC lawsuit and looking for that asset to jump and to make up some of those losses. Otherwise, pretty conservative approach right now while doing some training on trading to do it right. Can't seem to care about NFT's, but they are coming hot and fast. I pay all of my employees in Crypto. I send my ex crypto for support. I even send my wife the budget in Crypto haha.

I literally used to wire so much in money as a contractor with crews that worked nationwide I've been banned from MoneyGram, and I hit a legal maximum on Western Union. I don't think I can send more than $50 now. Had no idea that was even possible. I think they thought I was into illicit activities or drugs. Now although that would explain a lot, it's not accurate. The cost to send thousands via Crypto is you use XRP or XLM or Avalanche is fractions of a penny. It's pretty insane.

Well, that's certainly reason for optimism.
