That was our best win of the season by far. Westbrook looked good, AD battled, and our shooters hit shots aside from a couple super cold patches. The defense as a whole was better as well, and no I’m not saying good, I’m saying better, got back door cut way too much still. I don’t want to hear about Butler being out either, we don’t have LeBron, or our true star, Reaves. All I ask of this team is that they play as hard as they can, and they did that for this game. Hell we got down 9 late in the 4th, it looked bad, but they didn’t quit, Russ attacked the basket with purpose.

Once all the pieces are in place this is going to be a formidable team.

Yeah. I felt like this was the first night that I could really see it. Get everyone back, chemistry improves, get the turnovers under control, etc and we’ve got something

Without a doubt one of their best games this season. Went through long stretches where the defense was solid, Westbrook and AD finding more chemistry. A good tune-up game against a quality opponent.

I would be cautiously optimistic. Once Lebron returns they're gonna have to adjust having to a ball dominant guy like him on the court. Right now only one guy is high usage. There will be an adjustment period when Lebron returns and another one when THT/Nunn return.

I think LeBron is going to be a huge help down the stretch of these games making sure guys are where they need to be, cutting the bad / dumb plays, etc.

    This is encouraging

I think he was of two minds when Lebron was here...whether to be the lead playmaker or play off Lebron. Its a tricky balance

The problem is his dumb plays always come at the worst time possible, when its hard to recover from.

That line up with AD WB Melo Monk and Bradley made the difference. It freed Russ defensively from running after shooters.

Honestly just shocked how good Melo looks. No he's not good on the D part but he's become passable.

When he first came in last night thought he forced up a few bad shots but as the game went on, he again became this deadly catch-and-shoot guy from all over the court. Can't wait to see him with Lebron with AD at the 5. It's like the Lakers found Duncan Robinson for the minimum but this Duncan Robinson can also post up and drive against mismatches

just got around to watching it, and i'm encouraged. miami played a good game, and we still won. had we played half as well against okc twice, we'd be threatening first place in the conference right now.

Honestly, when Melo, Monk and Ellington play like they did, add some 3's from Bradley and then have RW play like this, we win a ring playing like this.

We finally had a killer game from all our 3 point shooters.
