Monday at ATL is the last game on this long road trip. Have a great chance to finish 5-2 and spend the next 2 weeks (5 games) at home.

    5-2 on this roadtrip. Nice

Looks like we have discovered our death lineup this year. AD/Bron/KCP/Caruso/Schroder so far its working

i actually expected to lose that one, so i'm happy. i didn't expect to lose in detroit, but i expected a loss in one or both of philly/boston.

    yeah, overall pretty solid trip.

would like to see the three point percentage return, plz. i was getting spoiled by us being actually good at that for a while.

5-2 on the longest road trip of the year. Not bad at all! Especially when one was a one point loss to the 76ers who have the best record in the east.

Glad that road trip is over.. We were a bit lucky to salvage 5-2, but I'll take it.
You could tell that the Covid Travel Protocols are brutal on the Team, especially on a long 7 game trip like this. They really looked deflated at times.
Is it true that they're not allowed to leave their Hotels while on the Road..?

I believe that's true. They gotta stay in the hotel at all times.

Yep. Arnovitz with ESPN Insider had a really good article last week on it and broke down what an average day for them looked like Here's most of it...

On this year's Lakers I'd imagine Wes Matthews is having a particularly brutal time. Nothing as he's known his whole career.

Lakers are deep. They have guys like Mathews and Morris who can really play but can't get any burn because of youngins like Kuzma and THT stepping up. It's a good problem to have. I'd rather have that versatility and depth. It's a long season, cold streaks can happen, injuries may happen and playoff matchups its nice to have some extra chess pieces. Great roster assembly by Rob overall

And it really is not about those guys not getting minutes because of others playing better. It's mostly because Vogel is simply trying to play different players and see what they can do in particular situations. He announced before the game that he was going to play THT more tonight because he liked the match-ups for him. He prepped/warned Morris and Mathews so they knew what was going on. It was not about them not being as good as THT per say. Since they have had so little time to practice, they are having to do so during games and that is what this was. Great practice session!!

I didn't catch the game, but I noticed Jokic didn't put up great numbers at all, yet I thought we potentially could have gotten murdered out there without Dwight/Javale. Can someone tell me how we figured out how to defend him?

Jokic actually started the game strong & seemed to be having his way with both Gasol & AD.
Lakers went smaller the 2nd half & just took Jokic out of the game completely. Harrell played him well despite the lack of size too.

Dang, I started to watch this game and it was looking like it was going to be a blowout by the Clippers. I spared my wife having to watch it because I make her watch all the Lakers games. Came back and checked out the box score and saw that they lost and it looks like Tatum outplayed Kawhy. It made me smile.
