We are improving. Very slowly, but things are looking better.

Hey, when we play bad and both CL and DL totally go off on us, the game is still close. Even in a bad game we have chances to win. When we are spot on and firing on most cylinders, they don't have a chance.

Portland has been lighting up opponents before us. In their lone win so far, they did not even hit their average. We are squeezing the life out of them while manufacturing enough points in the clutch to win. Besides James and Davis, we do have capable contributors in Pope, Kuzma and Waiters. The first two are concentrating on the defensive end and the third is mostly relegated to the pine.

Caruso has been playing pretty well too.

Agree on Caruso...he is one of our best perimeter defenders. A long, long way from that guy who threw a pass directly to the opponent in Summer League. Solid so far just solid.

One thing the playoffs has shown is that teams have explosive offenses

Lakers though should be able to match up against anybody. Crazy how the growth of Kuzma and Caruso just changes the equation. With AD behind (or Dwight) you that allows your defenders that much more room to work with

The Clips had to go small against the Mavs with no rim protection. Lakers don't need to do that with ADs versatility on defense and they can legit throw 3 elite defenders on the perimeter like the Clips have but with rim protection.

Lakers currently #1 in defensive rating in the playoffs.

Not a surprise. If we had decent long range shooting, we'd be #1 to win the championship this year.

So the first three games, Lakers were just bored? Kobe's day today and they come out looking like this... sheesh!

Today we looked like regular season Lakers. That's not good for the rest of the teams.

To quote Phil Jackson: "They are at death's door..."

Wednesday: Read Portland their last rites and put them out of their misery.

Where are all the pundits from the media and twitter trolls at now? Skip Bayless, before the playoffs began, said the Lakers are quaking in their boots that they have to face Portland - who outside of the Suns, were the hottest team in the league. Lillard was averaging 40 points shooting 47% from three in the bubble. Stephen A. Smith said that Damian Lillard is the best player in the NBA. Three games later and we all know the best player in the NBA plays for the Lakers.

Game 1 was a fluke... 2nd worst 3 point shooting game in NBA playoffs history and AD was playing soft. Once AD turned it up and shots were being made, Portland stood no chance.

Looks like Houston vs OKC will go seven games. I would much rather we face the Rockets so the Lakers can silence the doubters once again. LeBron looked like the LeBron of 2018 Playoffs, AD can't miss from mid-range, Danny Green looked like the $15 million player we got him for, and now KCP had enough of you bullies.
