I’m certain there were no complaints about length of any sort in that case.

Well that doesn't suck. Let me go look at the game stats. Bet some calcification containment going on.

Nope, they all played for the Clips including Morris and Lou Williams in the starting lineup. ClipperSnake with 30 plus the rest of them ..... trumped by Simmons and Embiid output.

Well, Beverly was out with some injury.

Philly doesn’t lose at home? I wonder what this board was like when the Lakers lost there. I’m assuming a barrage of posts about how badly they’ll lose in the 2nd round.

For the most part not too bad (?), but not remembering exactly. Likely there was some "It's pathetic that Pelinka's a moron" going on.

thought about this earlier. i've been banging the 1 seed drum all year--and it's still my preferred outcome--but i could see finishing in the 2/3 range being basically just as acceptable, in terms of playoff implications. looks like utah/houston will be 4/5. i'd wager on okc/dallas being 6/7 (both teams we match up with quite well). it's also possible that you get a hot portland at the 8 spot if you're the one seed. i could see a scenario in which denver takes 1, and we meet the clips in round 2 instead of the conference finals as most expect right now. that's ok. i think you have to beat them no matter what, so i'm not sure it matters when. i suppose the deeper it goes, the more calcified kawhi gets, but it's also more wear on lebron.

anyway, just a thought. the optimism part is that we may have accomplished most of the heavy lifting already, with utah and houston trailing by 6-8 games with less than 30 games remaining. even if we go in the tank and finish, say, .500 the rest of the way. houston would have to go 22-7 and utah 20-7. are all those things possible? i guess. but we'd have to severely underperform and those teams would have to play better than they have on the season at the same time. and honestly, if we go .500 the rest of the way, seeding is not our concern anymore anyway.

so yeah, let's focus on staying healthy if possible.

Luckily, all of the top Teams in the West (besides DEN) have been struggling a bit lately, so we haven't given up much of our lead in the standings. Let's take care of Denver tonight & get a streak going again after the AS Break & we'll be good.

Man what a playoff like game. Credit to the guys gutting it out right before all star break. You could tell Denver really wanted that game but Lakers are better. Oh yeah and we taking that W with us all the way home!

That was one hell of a game: looked and felt more like a do or die playoff game than anything else. Impressed with both teams and Vogel got his head out of his a** and played Dwight/KCP/Caruso after fooling around. Was dying watching Rondo/Kuzma out there.

Winning in Denver is always tough, add in that their current team hate us, especially that punk Murray’s and it’s even tougher. It’s also easy to take the last game before the AS break lightly and just want to get there already. We didn’t, and that was a really quality win, keeping our lead in the West at least 4 games going into the break.

Winning in Denver despite shooting 14-27 from the FT means we have nothing to worry about them .

Good matchup for us ( we are too big and athletic for them)

Maybe my favorite game of the season thus far. Great win in a tough place to get one. Number one versus number two in the West - heavyweight fight for real. We brought it and Lebron just had that killer look in his eyes all night long. He wasn't going to let us lose. 32, 12 and 14 on better than 50% shooting. In his 17th year. Are you kidding me? Unbelievable.

Great play from AC Fresh, Dwight and of course AD who had some monster defensive plays and those timely threes down the stretch. Sick line as well with 33, 10 and 2 blocks. Loving this team right now. Way to show everyone who is boss before the All Star Game.

Beat them at home twice. Murray is a punk I guess but damn he’s a nice talent on offense.
