I love the versatility of Julius and Larry. Julius brings physicality, speed, and play-making. Larry brings energy, defense, and stability. What a nightmare for opposing teams. Easily our best position for the foreseeable future.

    Didn't expect this , what a great sign ...

The best thing is I care about the Lakers games again ... not living of my main passions during 3 meaningless seasons was tough ( and for a lot of us I assume )

I'm telling you, this team is special.

We're not watching a team like the T-Wolves or 76rs with a ton of youth but never going anywhere. We are seeing a team that is going to struggle to mature at times, but will eventually turn into a really really good team, just with the pieces we have as the young core.

I just feel it, and it's not just the high from the win. I feel it even in our struggles.

Luke was the lynch pin I was waiting for.

We're 2-3 against playoff teams. 2 of those L's (pacers and jazz) came down to the wire, possibly W's at home.
Our prediction isn't looking so pipe now LT :Noddingyes:

I thought a lot of fans and people like Stephen a. Smith over reacted but glad people can just focus on the team and not the owner blame game lol.

Looking forward to watching replay of the game. Was at work, but a great night now doe.

After 1-3 I was already worried we are in for a hopeless season but this win was so big for the morale.

2-3 with 4 road games is absolutely OK for this team and they couldn't have wished for a better record at this point. It seems expectations are so low that every win is taken as a bonus.

Which is great.. gotta have the mentality of prepared for the worst but having a strong hope of the best.

Hawks are no slouches either. Top 5 team in the east with a veteran coach and system he's established there.

I didn't expect we'd win, and I went to the game anyways. I'm glad I did, definitely fun to watch. Hard to be on game time and watch the game though, especially when there is a delay in broadcasting just a bit.

I happened to be at my storage facility less than a mile from the game. Traffic in ATL is HORRIBLE. LA'esque. So I decided to see if I could grab a ticket last minute. Missed the first quarter, but I wasn't exactly anywhere near the players. Did meet LOTS of Laker fans though, and the guy I sat next to said he'd register and login at the site. Half the arena was Laker fans, and I found that so hilarious.

I think revgen mentioned that when Howard fouled someone hard (wasn't sure who it was), the boos made it sound like an opposing arena. :dwightcrying::Laugh:

I think he's earned his keep. We've drafted well and finally built a solid team this year. Now how much he played in that who knows but we are, at a position much better than a lot of teams out there and everyone is starting to see that.

We played 5 playoff teams, 4 on the road and came out 2-3. Were better than 9 teams out there. Philly who had almost as many draft picks as we did are 0-4. Unibrow is killing it but is 0-5. Dirk "paycut for rings" Nowitzki is 0-4. Den, Orl, Min, Phx who all have fairly decent young talent are 1 and whatever. Its still way too early and I might be homer-ing a little but we are building something special, the league better watch out when things finally click.

I've never understood why Jim gets the blame when something goes awry, but people are hesitant to give him credit when things begin to pan out or something good happens... It was clear what Jim's intention was, fresh start, and he's done that. I dont get all the hate he was getting from this site and Stephen A Smith, at some point, you gotta start over, just the nature of the game. You'll get an occasional exception like the Spurs management who are just pure genius.... I never flamed him, and saw what he was planning, this young core could turn out to be something great, just gotta develop it....

WCF or bust, as man your word is your bond. If anyone should get more slack its Mitch, he takes all the criticism and has to face the media for all the past failures, while Jim sits back and makes aburd promises based on nothing but history, just cause his dad managed to always rise out of the ashes with big time trades and big name FA signing Jim just automatically assumes he'll do the same.

I don't think he's going anywhere. I love what we're building here, though!
